Guy who inspired the Berkley riots commits career suicide.
I get what he was trying to say, the laws about age of consent are arbitrary, and logic proves he's not wrong about that. That's why every state has different ages, and why mother nature overrules them all by allowing underage, by law, people to make and/or have kids.
However, when you're wading into that territory, you need to be extra careful about what you say, and he wasn't. Is there a difference between a human being before and after puberty? Yes. Does "grass on the playing field" make it ok to play ball". No.

I understand that in some cultures, grass on the field is not a requirement for the playing of ball.

I've heard folks in Uganda fuck babies to get rid of their AIDS.

On one hand, I get what he's saying. On the other hand, for a dude who makes his living off the spoken and printed word, you think he'd be a lot better at picking them, especially considering most of them come about as a result of commenting on other people's words.
He blamed his “British sarcasm” and “deceptive editing” for leading to a misunderstanding.
Deceptive editing my ass. The footage is continuous for a few minutes. As for "British sarcasm," the only place in the UK where sarcasm comes as a built-in component in people is Scotland. If I had to pick ways to describe the English sense of humour (particularly the part where he's from in Kent), "dry" and "understated" would be somewhere near the top.
Resigned.
As recently as last week, Breitbart editor Alexander Marlow called Yiannopoulos “the No. 1 free speech warrior of his generation in America at the moment” in an interview.
But Yiannopoulous’s views on pedophilia apparently went too far even for Breitbart.
On his Sirius XM radio program on Tuesday, Marlow called Yiannopoulos’s comments “indefensible” and “appalling.” He said, “It’s all very upsetting and something we take very seriously at Breitbart,” but he made no comment about his future with the site.
...
“You’re misunderstanding what pedophilia means,” he told the hosts. “Pedophilia is not a sexual attraction to somebody 13 years old who is sexually mature. Pedophilia is attraction to children who have not reached puberty.” He adds that consent by minors is “arbitrary and oppressive.”
Fucking WOW. That last part is fucking stupid beyond belief. Arbitrary? Sure. Oppressive? Uh, no.

Definitionly he's correct in that it's not pedophilia if the grass is growing. There's a separate term for that: hebephilia (approx 11 to 14). Then a bit later there's ephebophilia (approx 15 to 19).
Still (mostly) illegal, and still a huge red flag for anyone even just a few years older to be actively interested.

Milo morphed into a provocateur over the last couple of years. I think he watched Ben Shapiro and took away the wrong lessons. Ben is very blunt. One of his favorite sayings is "the truth doesn't care about your feelings". Being blunt while stating facts is a different world than being obnoxious while stating your opinion.
On the funny side, Salon scrubbed their website of all the pro man/boy love articles they had on their site by one particular contributor.
I would put my money above the line that Milo becomes the next David Broch.

Damn shame, I'd trade him for a refugee. I'm sure I can find one who's less of a douche than him.
Yiannopoulos is a supporter of Donald Drumpf, whom he refers to as "Daddy"; he was also quoted in The New York Times, saying, "Oh, yes. I call myself a Drumpf-sexual. I have a very antiwhite bedroom policy, but Drumpf is kind of like the exception to that rule."
What in the mother of fuck?

I can trace my family back to the 1600s in Georgia. I could have said like 10th gen, and waved goodbye to all of you. You're welcome, and you could always go with her... no need to be separated.
I've heard Mexico has some strict immigration rules, but the fact you married a.........
Well, I was trying to be funny, but it's sounding too dickish.

At my first job out of college there was this dude that all the women thought was a nice guy, etc. Then one day he and I were alone, and he just started talking about how much he loved 15 to 17 year old girls, and they were the best, and most attractive, etc, and his whole mood and body changed. It was revolting.
According to this dude, pretty much all hetero men are ephebophiles.

I think we've noted here from time to time that it is sometimes impossible to discern 16 year old girls, from 20 year old girls. Our brains don't know, but our autonomic nervous systems are supposed to know? It gets a lot of people in trouble.
