Maybe after they realize they'd been getting duped for however long, sure.

I always saw sexually aggressive women as a challenge.... and if they happened to be fat, then it was easy for me to just outrun them.

These stories really bug me. Mainly because most of these women are attractive, and I wonder if they're truly pedophiles or if their self esteem is so low that getting into a relationship with someone emotionally immature is worth the risk.

In NY it happens with male teachers also. They aren't allowed an actual classroom, but they report in every day and sit in a room doing administrative stuff while collecting a check.

I guess it's also biased that I immediately wonder how bad their self esteem is, while if it was a male teacher I'd just assume he was attracted to children, and a cure would be found in two bullets to the back of the skull.
