The folks behind MW:O have created the first new solo installment of a MechWarrior game in years.

Shit yeah.

Pre-order offers for MW:O players.

Those are so good that if we decided to play MW:O again I would take one of these deals.

Now an Epic exclusive.

To their credit, they're offering full no questions asked refunds and you keep the MW:O content. Still, people are pissed.

Here's what I told Russ Bullock:

No, MW:O is alive and fine.

They were also developing MW5:Mercenaries. It was much anticipated and will be more like a solo player strategy game. They advertised it for over half a year with pre-sale deals, all coming with Steam keys. Now they move it to Epic at the 11th hour. Just like other games have done which means Epic is clearly behind this tactic.

So MW5:M will be an Epic exclusive for 1 year. MW:O continues on without issue or exclusivity.

Ahhhh.

Yeah that's bullshit.
