The number of pardons by each president.

A lot make total sense. Miscarriages of justice (although that really questions our legal system), folks who did time for understandable crimes (like if a dad beat a guy to death who tried to rape his daughter or something), people who served their community/country and went down for standing by their principles or taking one for the team as a scapegoat (Susan B. Anthony, Oliver North, etc.), and so on.

But rich people committing financial crimes? Political cronies who were caught breaking the law? Celebrities?

The American public should be outraged about this tradition.
