Banning white supremacists.

Because the best way to end hate is to push it to where you can't see it. Right? Right?!?

The folks that run Twitter learned NOTHING from the 2016 election.

And do they decide which speech is hate?

They do on their own website. The first amendment doesn't apply.

They have every right to ban who they want, but it's not a good trend.

But hey, at least they didn't refuse to make them a cake, right?

Twitter decides to start imposing their morals on users.

Morons are quick to Twitter's defense talking about how this happening to racists. They don't understand that the door has now been opened.

You aren't allowed to use "slippery slope" as an argument. You will get shot down by people hoping to make.more restrictions based on these restrictions.

Just did a check of the people I'm following and a bunch of people I've never heard of showed up. Does that happen? Did I follow people without realizing it?

Upon checking the accounts, they follow tons of people, but only have a few followers. they also don't tweet a lot. Are these fake accounts? What is their purpose?

I always thought you had to explicitly follow people in twitter.

That's what is confusing to me. I was following people I didn't know, and who I'd never follow.

Damn Russians.

I thought about the hacking thing, but it was only a small handful of people (6 or so). And my account wasn't tweeting a bunch of shit.

I often wonder why randoms follow me, and I'm wondering if someone figured out how to get followers through following people.

I think Twitter's new look and whatnot might have made our tweet code obsolete.

I'm guessing Twitter hasn't updated for you yet?

Here at my office it's fine. I haven't been upgraded here yet.

At home, where the upgrade has happened, I no longer have the option to "copy link". In fact, trying to embed a tweet takes you to a whole different page to "help" you, but also maintain Twitter's ownership of the tweet.
