Yeah, I've considered it, but I don't know that it's worth it.

I've been rooting for this to bomb since the beginning so we can stop with the trend of every channel doing its own subscription model.

I haven't seen the CBS subscription numbers. The show.is.doing well on Netflix overseas, I have no idea about the US numbers.

There's nothing about Plex to be"worth it." It's free.

Just watched the mid-season finale. Ended solid... I even liked the little moment between the engineer and his boyfriend, when it could have been their last conversation.

But....

None of this has a hope of ever jiving with the beginning of the original series. The tech they're using is beyond even Next Generation, and the Enterprise-D, which is like 80 years later in the timeline. So, I dunno.

Is this the thread we were discussing your issues with Direct TV and American Spirit Media?

Fox36 ran an ad tonight during the NFL game asking Buckeye subscribers to get their friends who aren't receiving Fox to switch to Buckeye. They're offering a $100 credit for anyone who gets their friends to switch.

Yeah, Fox still blacked out on DTV.

Young Spock and Captain Pike on the way.

FYI: CBS Access isn't doing awesome, but this ST series definitely is their big title.

Just curious, FOX still blacked out?

No, Fox came back a few weeks ago. It was a loooong blackout.

Apparently these are companions to Discovery.

Probably spoilers: Two people are leaving the show after season 2.

The people leaving aren't going to help with how people not watching perceive this show.

They aren't Star Trek's first non-binary characters. Author is a fucking asshole for trying to say they are.

Riker banged a member of a non-binary gender race way back in TNG.

First non-binary crew, then.

Odo from DS9 didn't have a gender.

Data allowed his child to choose it's gender.

Author is a.fucking asshole.

All of Gordon's facts are correct. The author is playing politics and/or ignorant.

None of these characters were humans, iirc.
