School boards exist to get funding, and get high state test scores for more funding. Educating children starts at about #3 in their priority list. Making sure they don't kill anyone is not on the list at all, beyond what the cleanup is going to cost the budget next fiscal year.
Not sure civilization can survive a perfectly capitalist education system.
Had to go to Fox for this one as CNN has nothing about it. Bomb squad is on the scene.
This is weird:
The New York City Fire Department said eight people were injured.

I don't necessarily disagree, but they point out where currently mass shooting stats come from, and in doing so, completely discredit them. Not surprising considering everyone with an IQ above 2 knew they were politically massaged.
I'd love to see a real article discussing how social media, terrible mental health facilities/treatment in this country, a divisive MSM, marketing, and so on are what really lead these whack jobs into taking action rather than just sitting in a bar getting drunk and spouting off about their theories.

NC scraps pistol permits. I'm pro gun control, overall, but I do agree with getting rid of the permits. I would appreciate if NC's domestic violence reports were homogenized for federal background checks, etc. But the pistol permit system is dumb. Better background checks are the way to go.
