Tea

Gordon's coffee thread inspired this one. Plus, tea is gaining popularity with stores like Teavana. It definitely wins over coffee in terms of variation on drink flavors and types, but loses to coffee's strength in cooking.
I've gotten a lot of folks either switched over to tea or drinking tea as much as they drink coffee over the years. It always starts in the company kitchen when folks are grabbing their joe and they see me with tea bags. They're tried tea and everyone drinks iced tea, but they need that powerful kick in the mornings. I always recommend skipping the Lipton (which is admittedly great for iced tea) and grabbing the Bigelow (brand name).
Stick with Earl Grey or English Breakfast in the mornings. (Yes, I drank it years before that Jean Luc prick copied me.) Earl Grey has that powerful taste folks want in the morning, but it's far less bitter than coffee. English Breakfast is simply delicious, yet strong. I'm a "best for last" person, so I drink Earl Grey Monday - Thursday and English Breakfast on Friday mornings.
For afternoons, I'll either grab an English Teatime, another black tea with good flavor, or Mint Medley, a non-caffeine but I love mint.
For bed or when you're stick, go with Chamomile, which isn't technically a tea, but it's in the family. It won't keep you awake.
Best part of tea as a primary drink? It has so many flavor profiles that you don't need sugar or sweeteners. Although, if you must, honey is a good choice. I drink water and tea almost exclusively these days and it was responsible for some weight loss for me. I recommend it as a first step for anyone entering a weight loss program. Zero calories in your drinks means you can put more on your plates.
