Why should they change their name? Brave isn't a derogatory word.
"Native Americans are people, not mascots."

1. Braves were not a specific group. It's the same as the Golden State Warriors.
2. When American Indians start demanding Notre Dame change their mascot, I'll take their claims about non-derogatory words more seriously.

3 games into the season, and no team is undefeated. Is that some kind of record?

17 Marlins have tested positive.

Their season, which just started, is now in doubt.

Another round of testing revealed four more positives on the team, bringing the total number of new cases among players and staff over the past five days to 17. It left around half of the Marlins’ 30-man roster unavailable, effectively putting one of the 30 teams out of commission for an entire week. In order “to allow the Marlins time to focus on providing care for their players,” MLB said, the club will remain sidelined until next Tuesday at home against the Philadelphia Phillies.

The time off will also let the Marlins figure out how to put together something resembling a representative roster with so many of their players unable to be with the team. They will likely need to summon a group of players from their “alternate training site,” in Jupiter, Fla., which is essentially the 2020 version of a farm system.

I dunno, they say you need 70 to 80 %, so that'd be like 22.5 players +/-

They're up to 18, so only 5 more to go!

Although, they still aren't sure the antibodies stay with you for any length of time, so herd immunity might be bullshit in this case.

They feel pretty good that they last (at least) 3 months, so that's all of baseball season.

I wonder if these leagues are having players sign waivers preventing lawsuits.

All it takes is one death or one career ending condition...

Has to be part of the agreement they all made to do the shortened season.

They'd be insane not to have protective language considering their bubbles suck ass.

THIS is the "lasting damage" study I want to see. All these professional athletes probably have "pre-covid" records stating they didn't have heart damage (or whatever) BEFORE they got the rona.
