Mr. TORGUE begins today. I noticed I can cut down entire biker gangs with just melee. If I'm accurate, I don't even uncloak once and I can chain about six kills together. That's because I can one-shot bikes regardless and one-shot crit the bikers to the tune of ~100K damage. Holy Jeebus.

Pyro Pete's bar is fucking awesome. Reminds me of when I played the Gold Box games and got into bar fights. Except damn near everyone fights everyone at Pete's.

Who's stealing? I do nothing but gain cash from my every visit there. Then again, I'm shooting 99.9% of each visit. Also, the bar fight tier battle. I take the mission at level 44. Notice the time gets tighter each time and I see a couple more badasses, so I figure that why's the tier 3 fight is giving me more issues. Nope, failed to see the flashing skulls next to each enemy, even after failing 3 times. Fucking level 50 difficulty. Shit, I almost pulled it off the first time.
EDIT: At level 45. Getting closer to Invincible-hunting time. Next five levels are looking to be slow as hell. I just picked up about five side quests. If they get me halfway to 46, I'll probably be lucky.

Oh yeah, there are some cannibal rats around, so I suppose some thieves could be there, too. Don't give them time to steal. Just shoot someone, take cover for a few seconds, and join the fray.

Ye gods. I would almost overlook this were it not for the Aliens: Colonial Marines debacle. Was doing side missions in TORGUE. Granted, I'm using a sniper at ultra long range to hit critters, but goddamn, come the fuck on. After two headshots, the response of a super badass enforcer should not be "flex like a backup dancer in that one Right Said Fred video." For fuck's sake, charge me, shoot back, take cover, throw a grenade, throw your gun, anything except stand there and strike a pose. They literally stood there while I shot them. Enemy AI is lacking.

Word is that the level cap increase might not be first quarter, but it'll be this year. Apparently some bugs came up during dev/testing.

Up to level 46. Wonder if I'll crack 50 by the time TORGUE DLC is done. At the Death Race mission. All the level 50 missions are now marked just as "hard" and not "impossible" at least.

Or maybe I did? I tend to be a completionist. I think after you finish it, it's still available.

Notes about TORGUE DLC:
1) Whoever said, "Hey, let's replace all the gun shops with TORGUE shops," deserves to be kicked in the nuts. I'd really like a fire weapon right now, but since the only things the gun shops sell seem to be explosive weapons, I'm out of luck. Good fucking job, assholes. All my guns are three levels behind me, I haven't been given any loot that's good enough to replace them and you shut off the only stores I can buy them. Fuck you.
2) Motor Mama gets a car and infinite rockets? Also seems cheap.

Since there aren't any guns of sufficient level in:
1) the core game or
2) pirate DLC and
also since
3) TORGUE DLC has shitty explosion-only guns in its machines,
I suppose I'm going to kill the Leviathan, again, to bring it up to my current level. Then kill it a third total time and hope to balls I get better guns. Suppose I could also start the Hammerlock DLC and fuck TORGUE until I get better guns or cap out in levels. Either way, it's fucking stupid design to screw a basic game dynamic like the gun store in a DLC. Put them alongside the TORGUE machines. Like people aren't going to fucking check out both.

Why is the fucking Hammerlock DLC tossing level 50 and 51 enemies at me when I'm level 46 with level 43 weapons? WHAT THE FUCK? Seriously, just how the fuck do I take these dudes down? None of my guns even dent them except the rocket launcher and by the time I get close enough to dent them with it, they kill me. I can joust them until they gang up on me or the witch doctor or whoever gets a lucky shot. Absolute fucking bullshit.
