Everyone who immediately heads to Twitter to try and dig up dirt on someone in the news should be executed.
That would result in a dramatic improvement in this country. Prove me wrong.

Rips seems a bit strong
"I don't have strong opinions on it other than that I think there's some clear signs Alex Trebek's preferred successor was Ken Jennings and it would have been more respectful to abide by his wishes," he added.
Alex didn't know about his tweets!

Joe Buck was actually really good as a host. He was on top of the game (coming after Levar Burton sure helped), reacted, was in the moment of the game, etc. He was maybe a little too excited for the Jeopardy crowd, but he had really good energy (as opposed to put-you-to-bed Aaron Rodgers).

My wife and I were watching Jeopardy today from November.
The category was "
priceless objects - (spoiler link)"
I guessed "What is the Hope Diamond?" before they revealed the clue.
They revealed the clue. Then, ALL 3 CONTESTANTS GOT IT WRONG.
The answer: What is the Hope Diamond
BOOM

Right? Not having sex is what makes your brain be taken up with sex.

CBS loses rights to Jeopardy and WoF.
This is a pretty big hit to CBS. Worst case is they lose those shows and that time slot sinks to the ratings cellar, and it will. Best case is they win the shows back, but at a huge cost because there is definitely going to be a bidding war.
I could easily argue that those shows are key to CBS' success. They attract an older crowd, and they stick around for the CBS programs afterwards because A) They're advertised during those shows and that crowd doesn't know how to skip commercials and/or B) they're too lazy to change the channel or they fell asleep and still count as a rating.

CBS has vowed to appeal, making the financial connotations of the case quite high
...
seeking sole distribution for the syndicated game shows that make billions for the broadcaster base on claims it has laid off too many workers.
Did AI write this? Or some bad intern?
It's weird that CBS even has a role here. It's not part of CBS' lineup (at least the basic syndicated shows), they're sold to local stations regardless of affiliation (ours are on an ABC affiliate here). Like why even have a separate distributor?

Based on what I'm hearing about media these days, probably AI. If it was a human, it was whomever took the job for the lowest salary.

Don't get me started. TV rights are a fucking disaster and have been for a long time. It works, but it's convoluted AF.
