OK, her shack is gone, looted my rad suit back and destroyed her workbench and large wood storage.

...destroyed her workbench...
Now you're just being mean. :p

I left her furnace.

Try not to get into a war with her.
She's on every day, and more than that, she's a girl or pretends to be one, and gets the attention of the other players. If she goes, they may follow.

If I weren't stuck at work, I'd make my way to her place and fill it with workbenches.

I say kill em all and ask forgiveness later.

I decided to go no-griefing.
Try not to get into a war with her.
She pointed a gun at me. And I was getting bored, so WAR IS ON.

Well, I wouldn't consider a few extra workbenches to be griefing. They're easy enough to clear away. It's not like you need C4 to blow them up.
But I'd be doing it as a peace gesture, to replace the one you took from her. A very confusing and highly likely to be misunderstood peace gesture, but still.

Swung by Gordo and Catt's place during lunch.
I brought 5 research kits with me, and can now craft metal buildings completely.
So construction of our "main" house will begin soon. I plan to locate it at the northern most tip of the everust mountains. Where the rocky terrain gets turned off. It's smack dab between resources on both sides of the map, and not too far from Big Civ. There's a large enough grass structure up there for a decent place.
Or does anyone want to see it elsewhere? Do we want to build it smack dab in the middle of the map? Metal tower with a metal wall around it? Maybe wood spike walls protecting them?
Spectacle that will cause folks to question our links to the admin or hidden fortress of solitude?
BTW Catt, you had one stick of C4 in your house. I took it. I can drop it off if you want it back anytime you'd like, but I figured it'd be safer out here in the east since you're starting a war.

I have a bunch of low quality metal that I accidentally made as well, you can have it. I don't want the house too far away. I don't care if people find it. I want conflict.

I want conflict as well, but I also want the combat system fixed. It's currently awful.
If we do it out in the open, I might build in Coastal Resource. That gives us local resources, the bust side of the map, and quick access to Big Civ, the Forest, and Civ Coast.

I vote a metal fortress hidden away, never to be found. This holds our most precious items. Then another house, perhaps right in the middle of the circle of road accessible from every direction. It can be all wood with metal doors (but not riddled with them) and breachable. This is where our conflicts would take place. It would be stocked with weapons and multiple levels. Fighting points, safe rooms, etc. This way, we always have a safe stash to really stock up on stuff (metal house) and a well armed fun house (wood) easily found and attacked.

Note to self: fire it off somewhere with fewer rocks.
Found a supply canister in the supply crates my supply canister dropped.

Most likely that would have been Explosives. I replaced those with supply canisters in the loot tables.

I hope every supply drop gets a new canister
That makes sense, I think I found it in a crate filled with bullets, C4, and grenades

My house on east side of the big forest is 3-4 stories of a 3x3 now and growing. Useful safehouse and full of shotguns.

I just built a metal house on the north tip of Everust Mountain. I will continue adding internal walls, floors, and whatnot as I get more metal.
You can find the location in the Rust - Server Notes sticky thread.
I'm not saying abandon your base or anything like that, but I think this should be our primary storage space. It's obviously the most secure as it takes C4 to get inside, and will require boatloads to fully invade once we complete it.
As Cake said, it should be our primary storage space for our most critical items, like C4, grenades, and research kits. It'd also be a good spot for you to drop a bed (let's keep it classy!), and make one of the rooms your own. Throw in a storage box or two and make a "shit I died" kit with armor, weapons, and supplies.
I'll work on getting the higher floors down ASAP, as I'm sure nobody wants their bunk on the bottom floor.
Anyway, any metal, wood, and/or rocks you can drop off would be appreciated.
Once I get this location secure and where we want it, I'll build us the wooden "come get me fortress in the middle of coastal resource.
BTW, it occurred to me that I don't have metal stairs. So if you find some, please bring one set so I can research it.
(On a personal note, I also need Kevlar helmet, vest, and shoes.)

I just broke into a house that was next to Miss whatshernames's shack. It only took 1 C4 to blow up a wall, and I was able to raid 2 storage boxes, a furnace, and go upstairs and kill the sleeping person.
I think I got my gun back. I also got a full kevlar outfit, and some misc guns and ammo. So, fuck her.

Subject: Rust Emergency Maintenance
The most recent Rust update released by the developers have caused severe performance issues when using old saves. To correct this issue, we will need to wipe the server’s save data folder “myserverdata”. Our control panel will go into maintenance mode at 6:30 EST. During the maintenance, all Rust services will be restarted. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Um. I just saved off the rust save file, so ... yeah. We may be getting a server refresh whether we want one or not. I could probably put it back if that's the case, but if I do they'll probably just do it again.
Well. Now what?
