I wonder if ANYONE who could actually make a difference will pay attention to the very common sentiment being expressed over the last week. I'm guessing no, but I am sometimes pleasantly surprised when I always expect the worse of people/government.

Lol. At the end of the day, people are BIG MAD. For good reason. But not much is being done. So yeah, they love some street justice when there's no other justice.

Problem is, people don't even want it (health insurance and such) as good as their grandparents had. People in their last decade of working just want it as good as they themselves had in their 20s. Things (college, health care, etc) went from decent to horrible in one generation.

Damn. Lots of people get murdered every single day, in the USA.

Dozens, on average.

The one who killed a rich guy is entering like his 7th day dominating the news. Almost like a few hundred people haven't been murdered since.

Longshot: he ends up at Gitmo while awaiting trial, because of protests and crowds at the prison he is held in. Officials will fear another Bastille.
