Holy shit that's stupid. I'd agree that Musk hasn't exactly been perfect on the "freedom of speech" claim, but he's not spending $50B to potentially influence an election.

While I'm not shocked by it, I am constantly frustrated at how some people think Twitter was a bastion of free speech and politeness before Elon. It was a far left cesspool filled with hate that was harboring kiddie porn and banning all opinions that didn't fit "The Message".

I'm posting here not because I believe, just because it fits the theme... but yeah, it's crazy all the shit out there. Hard to know what people really believe and what are just bots, too.

Ignore Rugg's words because I think he's being a bit too presumptuous about what Mills is saying. This is a good interview where Mills points out he's intentionally walking the line between reality and conspiracy, and also doesn't want to jump to conclusions. However, he says this whole situation is really sus and details exactly why in terms of a former sniper and military man.

He's not wrong. One dude shows up with a rifle and a fucking ladder, then scales the one building that's in perfect position, in broad daylight, with snipers aimed right at him, many see him and report it to the police, yet he's there for 2 minutes before shooting and then finally being killed? Have we ever seen this level of incompetence before?

Mills specifically says the failure wasn't intentional, but he believes there should be an investigation and not just by the FBI. Hard to disagree there.

I read this book series. Saw the Apple TV+ series too. Pretty good.

The books are good, not great. The series is also good. We enjoyed it as a family. It's a little slow in some parts.
