Musk doesn't have the data to do the evaluation.

I'm going to guess bots/fakes are about 50% of all users. But the metric being evaluated is very specific.

Twitter knows a bunch of accounts are fake, but they don't "monetize" them.

Maybe 4 accounts from the same IP is a family. Maybe it's one loser with 3 sock puppets. How do you check?

This will be the conspiracy theory:
This entire Twitter purchased was spearheaded by the Illuminati, of which Musk is a member. They know a large portion of those accounts are fake. However, they wanted a financial reason behind needing to enforce "membership" or "authenticating" all social media accounts. That way it doesn't look like the government is trying to control thought and speech on social media, and tracking who is a dissenter, but that's exactly what's happening.

This woman (remember she was doxed by a left wing journalist) received dozens of death threats in the past few days. All the accounts that threatened her were active and Twitter wasn't doing shit because she's a right winger. Enter Elon.

Also, as you have pointed out, it's a private company with their own rules and free speech doesn't apply. Threats are clearly against their TOS and they ban others for it, so...

so..... I'd like to see their rules applied to everyone, equally.
