I dunno, I just know the phrase as "two in the pink, one in the stink." I've never heard the 1 and 1 variety.

I was a grown up after that came out. So me not knowing the phrase is a good sign.

Today, in a situation maybe Leisher would understand, my wife asked if I wanted to have sex while the kids were out... but during the UNC football game.

I assured her that the TV had a pause button.

Stayed in an extended stay hotel in Napa for 3 weeks, once. They had just remodeled our wing, so we had a brand new room. Sweet!

A few days into the stay, they knocked on the door and accused of of smoking, the smoke detector was pinging. I allowed them in, we don't smoke, no smell, no cigarettes.

A couple days later I noticed a drip from the bathroom smoke detector. Reported it, was ignored. "Just shower condensation."

A few days later, a water stain forming down the wall. Reported it to front desk, I guess nothing was done. Reported it again when I started having to leave a towel on the floor so it wouldn't leave a wet spot to the floor drain.

By the time we checked out there was a trickle of running water down the wall, with bubbling paint, to the floor drain. I left a note, "We reported the water 3 times." Never got a call or billed.

Brand new, remodeled room. Bummer.
