Conservative US senator, when confronted by freedom, praises Socialism.

People yelled at him, he praises the taxpayer funded police. Coward.

I'm interpreting it as the crowd posed no threat and the senator was being a pussy and used the police force that he has been campaigning to defund?

Rand is well known to be close to Libertarianism. People exercising their freedom, not attacking him at all, just yelling at him, upset him. He was glad for the tax-payer funded police (Socialism) who protected him from these freedom-loving protestors.

Meh. In today's climate, I wouldn't trust a group of people yelling at me. Lots of stupid out there now.

It's a crowd of people, in 2020, where "peaceful protest" means looting, arson, assault, and murder, and he's a known politician with his wife. As Cake points out, he would be right to be terrified. People are fucking stupid.

Additionally, that mob or crowd was screaming at him "Say her name" and "Say Breonna Taylor", which only amplifies the "people are stupid" angle.

Oh noes! People yelling a free, public place! The Libertarian horror!

As a hypocrite, yes, Rand could say he was terrified.

You're either trolling or you have some deep hatred for Rand because you're not being fair here at all.

Or am I missing something that proved his safety and security? Was this mob behind barriers or free to get right up in his face? Was this mob educated or were they screaming at him about issues he's already active in working to fix? Didn't someone already open fire on Congressional members in the last few years at a softball game? Wasn't a female senator just shot in Arizona? Aren't images coming from all the protests/riots showing that these people are openly carrying weapons despite what the MSM is claiming?

I just don't understand your stance. I wouldn't care if it was Rand, Trump, Pelosi, AOC, etc. If a group of 100+ people are surrounding you and screaming horseshit that doesn't even apply to you during a time when these groups are being enabled by politicians and the MSM, I get being afraid. And that IN NO WAY diminishes their 1st amendment right.

Oh noes, he was in the public being addressed by the public!

Oh noes! they were yelling at him! Clearly he was attacked!

It's just because it's Rand, a piece of shit hypocrite. Any normal human being, I wouldn't bat an eye (aside from the "we were attacked!" bullshit)

So long story short, you just hate Rand, and thus, you're just being irrational. Gotcha.

No, if he wants to pretend to be a Libertarian with other people's lives, he should be a Libertarian with his own life.

So you're suggesting that a libertarian does not believe in maintaining law and order with a police force? That sounds more.like an anarchist.
