Bama, Clemson, OSU, Washington.

Let's just give Bama the trophy, retire Saban, and start up next year.

I cannot argue with those teams, at all. Should be interesting to see Washington play a real team. Bama's been pretty awesome for most of the season. Clemson can beat/lose to anyone, so we'll see.

McCaffrey going pro.

So much for the rumors of him transferring to Michigan.

Taggart in at Oregon.

Will he hire Axel Foley as Defensive Coordinator?

Looks like Kiffin to Houston.

OSU's defensive staff might get gutted.

Fickell and/or Coombs to Cincinnati. Schiano to USF?

Makes sense. Coombs is a Cincy guy and Fickell has to go be a head coach at some point. Hell, even the legend that is Dick Labeau had to try his had at being a head coach.

Schiano leaving wouldn't be a shock at all. He's a college and NFL head coach. When we signing him we knew he'd be gone quickly.

Now for something not in the report, don't be shocked if Charlie Strong comes to OSU as the defensive coordinator IF he doesn't take another head coaching job right away.

College news all over today.

Is Houston going to make it too expensive to become a coach there?

Why does Houston think it's a big program?

Realistically, any coach today would see Houston as a stepping stone. That impacts recruiting. You don't know what your program is going to be in 3 years as a player. I would think this would help create stability for their program, particularly if they wanted to invest in expanding facilities, etc. You want to make sure you're going to get the revenue back to cover that.

No offense to the ACC, but not an impressive year for the Heisman. The fact that Jabrill Peppers is in the mix proves that.

Jabrill Peppers shouldn't even have been Big 10 defensive player of the year (14 players who deserved it more), let alone a Heisman candidate.

If you want to keep arguing and think all that's opinion, try to argue with the numbers.

Whatever, I can't hear you over all the votes the top two candidates got.

Kiffin to FAU.

Major Applewhite took the Houston job and it seems they didn't want to hire Kiffin because they don't want to be a stepping stone school.

Ringer article about the WF mole.

This is easily the weirdest story of the year in sports.

I'm betting he was sabotaging the coach so he could become a coach again.

It certainly sounds like a revenge ploy based on the new coach not retaining him. What a dumb ass.

Louisville OC accepted the plays, and passed them on to the defense
Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich said in a statement Wednesday that offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway received "a few plays" from former Wake Forest radio announcer Tommy Elrod, who has since been fired for leaking confidential information to the Demon Deacons' opponents.

Galloway and Elrod have known each other since 2007 and worked together on the Wake Forest football staff from 2011 to 2012.

"Lonnie received a call from Elrod during the week of the Wake Forest game, and some information was shared with him that week," Jurich said in a statement. "Among the communication were a few plays that were sent and then shared with our defensive staff. None of the special plays were run during the course of the game. Our defense regularly prepares for similar formations every week in their normal game plan.

"Any other information that may have been discussed was nothing that our staff had not already seen while studying Wake Forest in their preparations for the game and the material was not given any further attention. I'm disappointed that this issue has brought undue attention to our football staff as we prepare for our upcoming bowl game."
I'm sorry, but what can you do but fire the guy?

And what other teams accepted information?

Obviously we weren't there so I can't speak to their guilt or innocence, but I will say they deserve their day in court BEFORE getting punished.

Women's basketball is no longer 15-10 snorefests. I'm not sure that's better...

I guess since the school is condemning them ahead of time, I have to side with the players temporarily, but I despise both sides.
