Game itself is $21 AC.

If you use that link, you'll get $2 credit for a future purchase.
Interesting. I bought the Mechromancer, and now I get a message that

"Thanks for being a premiere member. All characters you create with get Vault Hunter relic and a collection of Gearbox manufactured guns in their inventory"

If you preordered, you got the mech for free and also got into the premiere club or something. That gave you access to the gearbox guns. Every new character you start will have those guns. They aren't awesome, but there aren't any level requirements and they considerably beat the hell out of the starting pistol you get.

EDIT: The flying rocket grenade DLC item works the same way.

Anyone not have the Season Pass already?

There's an extra copy floating around if anyone still needs it.

Is the mechromancer class included in the season pass?

No. Think the season pass is just the DLC campaigns.

Well who do you have to blow to get the mechromancer, and how long do you have to blow?

Same question....

Just kidding. Do so, but update your Steam wish list.

At least 20 minutes.

The only reason I really have a wishlist is because they wanted you to have 10 items on it in order to have the chance to win one. And because I was price tracking the BL 2 Season Pass.

When we do, it's because of a map glitch that makes you fall, or we wander way off by ourselves where no one can save us. And we wander freely because we have such OP weapons that it's rare we find something we can't kill.

It's a fun game, but there's zero challenge.
Cake does have a point. In TVH mode, I've been relying on found weapons for the past 8 levels, and the game is significantly harder. Most loot is 1-4 levels behind, and white/green. I've managed to find 1 orange, 1 purple, and 6 blues worth a damn in that time. The 1 orange was nice, but 9 levels below me.

I'd say they're making it a bit easier, but it's far from "ruining." I still say 7 of every 10 gold keys produces crap equipment. Granted, that's better than the 1 of every 100 loot drops from containers/enemies.

My loot strategy is as follows...

Whites ... cash fodder
Greens/Blues ... usually only worthwhile if they've got elemental damage or amp/roid/spike bonuses, occasionally a non-elemental blue stands on its own damage
Purples ... maybe half the purples I get are decent and of that half, only half those are practical to use
Orange ... info deficient, only found one so far

Even still, we hit the Ore Chasm arena two nights ago and got our asses handed to us. We had to basically hide from the enemies just to complete it.

There was one boss in the Torque DLC that I had to game in a similar way to beat, and one that I cannot beat in the Pirate DLC. Stranger and I combined couldn't take down the Pirate one...

All of the above was/is listed as "Trivial".

My Mechromancer is a few levels above us, and she still has several missions listed as "Impossible".

Also, they are upping the cap for both players and enemies.

However, all that being said, I think it'd be fun to play a game where everything, from start to finish, is at least one level higher than the players.

The combo of RPG loaders providing artillery support, ion loaders providing cover, and badass loaders spawning on our platform made things bitchy. I'm still impressed we got the crit kill optionals on that one.

Ore Chasm was a sudden piece of toughness in the game, especially the RPG loaders mixed with others. I think it was the hardest part of the game. The other arena was harder for me, personally, but I was way too under-leveled for it when I went there the first time.

Which one? I have only had problems on THV with the uber-boss and L50 missions. On normal, I cleared everything pretty easily. Starts with P?

The trivial/impossible looks like it's mostly just a comparison between your level, and the "level" of the mission. Of course, as we all know, missions at the same "level" vary wildly in difficulty.

There's one small part of the entire game. An optional challenge in an arena that gets progressively harder. That's evidence that the game wasn't made extremely easy because of the gold keys? Blah. We walked through, with no problem, 90% of the game. There was no challenge outside of the 2 optional challenge arenas.

And to say "But the next play through is harder!" is crap too. Yes, the monsters and enemies level up, but so do the gold key weapons and everything else about your character. Gold key weapons will always out level the enemies keeping the game an easy walk through.

I think gold keys should have been used at times where normal loot wasn't getting the job done and we couldn't progress without some help.
