OSU sure made that game closer than it needed to be. Lucky break with UM's QB hurt. OSU wins, PSU wins out... 2 Big Ten teams sure is possible.

For the record: I would still give Strong 1 more year.

OSU sure made that game closer than it needed to be.
MSU came to win going for two, breaking out trick plays, and calling the fake punt. Despite all that, it was one of the most boring games I've ever watched. It was cold and windy and both offenses were a bit limited by that. Barrett looked like dog shit. His worst game ever. I don't know what happened to him, but something isn't right upstairs. He used to be crazy accurate, but you could count his on target passes on one hand. Everything else was wide, sailed, or behind receivers.
Between that and the Buckeyes' weakness on the edges thanks to overaggressive play, I don't know if they beat Michigan.
One of the reasons college rivalries are great:
All "N"s are banned at OSU this week. (See what I did there?)

Ha! Didn't even see that. I mean, it'd take a racist to make that connection...
In other news, reports everywhere are that Strong will be fired after their final game. He seems accepting of it as during his press conference he claimed this team will win a national title.
Not without a miracle Charlie.

He's actually managed to get some talent in Texas, they could well win the Big 12 within 2 years.

I give up, what's the picture?
Notre Dame told to vacate victories.
Has this ever happened in their history?

Herman to LSU close?
Herman is a great coach, but he's still eyeing that Texas job. If Texas can't get Herman, they should keep Strong. If LSU can't get Herman, they should keep Ogeron (sp?).

Herman to Texas, LSU sticks with Orgeron... expect them to be searching in 2 years.
OSU... Go MSU? I'm guessing odds of playoff are still quite good, but a conf win may mean a seed difference.
I assume Bama can afford a loss. Clemson cannot. Washington cannot. That leaves OSU + Big Ten winner as the other possibilities (assuming PSU wins).

Bet OSU wishes MSU could do more than make FGs

No. As an OSU fan, I was rooting for PSU.
Why?
We're in, so why play the extra game? Plus, it makes our one loss more impressive.
And if we don't get in for whatever reason, who cares? We're not winning the whole thing this year anyway.

Figure it's a possible difference between 2/3 seed and 4 seed. Win the Big Ten get 2, otherwise 4 is a possibility. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing no one really wants to play Bama, when Clemson/etc are the other alteratives.

I think if Clemson, Washington, and Wisconsin all win convincingly, there's an argument to be made that OSU stays home. Committee's really going to be wishing for a 5 team playoff if that happens though. Solid argument for all those teams to be included. If PSU wins, I would bring OSU instead of them.

I honestly have zero faith that OSU can win the whole thing this year, so I'm ok with whatever happens. JT Barrett is playing like dogshit. He's regressed massively. OSU could have routed Michigan if he could throw accurately like he used to.
I do know Vegas says the Buckeyes would be favored over PSU or Wisconsin right now and the Buckeyes hold a victory over Wisconsin in Wisconsin. They also have the most impressive loss, by a mile, losing to PSU on a blocked field goal.
Meanwhile, Washington is breathing a sign of relief that Utah didn't upset Colorado. Had they pulled it off, Washington would be playing USC instead of Colorado and would probably get beat again. Clemson is a pretender with a bunch of guys just doing enough until the NFL draft.
It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out.
IMHO, everything seems to be aligning for Nick Saban's swan song. I think Bama wins without any sort of challenge and Nick retires.

I've never seen this before.
All the more hilarious considering the division...
