Seeing over 100k people homeless makes me wonder if these peeps are rethinking the value of the "fly over states." I mean, probably not. And hopefully not.... stay out! We're full! But one wonders.

The price of lumber is going way up in a few weeks. I bet commercial sellers are even beginning to stock up right now.

If I were homeless, I'd go to CA.

I'd stow away on an ocean freighter and when I get caught become part of the crew and have adventures.

What are they going to fight? Well, half of that is to defend illegals from being deported.

It won't go to SoCal, because of geography. However, we needed that water for the summer, when it doesn't rain.

Not only won't that water got to SoCal, but in the places that water does go, it's raining right now, and we are supposed to be saving it. Farmers had scramble to move equipment, etc. Many dings to the agricultural sector lately.

I fear all of this shit, all at once, may hamstring the USA as a world leader very quickly.

Aside from picking up the check and having the best military, what exactly do we lead the world in?

The U.S. has been falling behind across the board and it's been going on for a long, long time.

Our economy is (was?) pretty solid.

Ridiculously robust, compared to anywhere else in the world.

Problem is, half the population (voters) is getting money fucked the last few years. Approximately 53% of the population.

Went to LA with a couple of other couples this long weekend. Was fun, man that weather is fantastic. Everything's expensive though. But did I mention the weather?
