I'd be SO pissed off if I was a democrat and felt I had any investment in the outcome of this election.

San Francisco might not be fast to take actions
Or…
Now that the Supreme Court has given a green light to cities’ sweeps of homeless encampments, San Francisco officials intend to use the broader authority granted by the court to more aggressively respond to the hundreds of tents spread across city streets.

Check the SCOTUS thread under general. The story had been posted there with some of their other rulings.

My bad. I didn't realize how much CA has improved since then.

"five years ago!" Like that's some long ago epoch.
I never saw it before either.

Women are like that too. They make great archeologists because digging up old shit comes naturally to them.

No need to be jealous of other people's good memories.

Elon is moving all of his companies out of CA.
He blames the latest "schools hiding things about children from parents" as the straw that broke the camel's back, but let's be honest, it's probably just an excuse because companies have been leaving CA in droves for legit financial reasons. I doubt Elon needed another reason.

Yeah.
If you're rich, places like TX are the place to be... financially. And CA is among the worst (again, just financially). Weatherwise, I'd take CA in a heart-beat.

Definitely would prefer it over the humidity in the SE.

Bay Area for the last month has had a bit of a heat wave off and on. It brought us up to 80s on the coast. Outside of that it’s regularly 75 by day, 55 by night. Humidity usually <50. Which is just paradise. Helps the plants out too, even with no rain.
Inland is a different story though. It’s hellfire.
