Wasn't there for me last night. Maybe they had to resurrect it since other outlets aren't ignoring it. I mean it's not like CNN has outright said they manipulate their audience...

And really they're the story here. Not the government completely failing at their most basic responsibility.

Just a super tight and well run administration. Our country is in great hands.

The call went out pretty quick to backtrack away from a wall. It's more important to save face and pretend you're not hypocrites than to actually do your job.

Clearly our best and brightest are in charge.

I was going to post something late last week about this very topic. I think Europe is a powder keg right now, and I'm expecting mass deportations to begin.

Was it even a year ago when Biden's administration sued Arizona to take down their shipping container wall?

Wasn't Kamala Harris specifically assigned the "crisis at the border" as her primary concern?

Rs won't pass Ukraine-Israel aid bill unless border policy changes are included.

How low is the bar in this country when one political party is withholding aid to people who need it until the other political party not only enforces actual law, but also stops openly helping people break it?

Another day, another mayor of a "sanctuary city" complains about being taken up on that claim.

He can only blame Texas because if he blamed the true culprit he'd have feds investigating him tomorrow, ala NYC's mayor.
Meanwhile, in Texas entering illegally is now a state crime.

They had to do that because the federal government not only won't do its job of securing the border, but is actively helping people enter the country illegally. Expect lots of illegals to move out of Texas and head elsewhere if this survives the inevitable legal challenges.

And think about how much money and resources are being wasted as the U.S. government is constantly suing states to prevent them from securing their borders. This issue is the Ds' abortion. Most Americans are against the company line here, but they keep on keeping on.

That'll be interesting. In the past there was some argument, with sanctuary cities and whatnot. Local police would say "It's our job to enforce local laws, not federal laws, and there aint no state/local law about immigration."

And now there is.

So... what do we do with all the illegal immigrants trying to cross? We can't just shoot them, I take it. There's so many it's impossible to arrest them all.. what do?

Step one: Stop the flow.

Step two: Register them. Tell all illegals to register by X date. If they are not on the rolls, which are shared throughout law enforcement, then they will be deported. Also, anyone not registered no longer receives any federal or state assistance.

Step three: Once registered, they have X amount of time to become legalized citizens or they get deported. Also, they are expected to learn English (both spoken and written), adhere to laws, pay taxes, and have jobs. If they cannot do these things, then bye bye.

The point is to put those unwilling to play ball on the outside of the system with a net designed to send them packing once they're caught doing anything.

How do you do Step 1?

Immigration

Well, first the government needs to stop aiding people illegally entering the country. Not just stop helping them get in, but stop giving them handouts.

The registration that they need to be on by X date guarantees they can still get assistance. Not being on it, gets them nothing.

The registration that they need to be on by X date allows them to work. Not being on it should earn any company employing them a fine larger than the money they saved by not hiring a legal worker.

Hell, I'd be in favor of passing a law removing non-English language signs, documents, etc. Announce it in advance with a date set a few years into the future. Give people time to learn then cut it all off. (Airports, seaports, etc. would be excluded.)

Anyway, the point is to remove the incentive for people to come here for free handouts, and to make it more difficult for people to setup camp here and not evolve and assimilate. We want the people seeking a better life and are willing to earn it. We've got enough people here who live off handouts.

I also think voting nationally should be withheld from any one coming in this way until they get citizenship + two years. Give them time to really assimilate before they decide the direction of our country. They came illegally, so their intentions might not be as "correct" as someone who went through the legal process.

Can anyone explain why this meme is wrong? How are records numbers of illegals, mostly men 15-30, flooding our country not a massive problem? This isn't failing to protect our borders, something he took an oath to do. This is openly helping people illegally cross our borders. How is this not impeachable or treasonous?

For funsies, say the end goal is to get them to vote. How is this different from Jan 6th?

Say the end goal is to fill the military with them, something Biden has said we should do. How hard do they fight for us? How easy would it be for them to turn their weapons on us?

Well, those people can't vote, for one, especially not by 2024. For another, most of these migrants are probably pretty socially conservative.

Also, many of them could be active agents of terrorism. "Red Dawn" posited that the enemy would fly in from the south in one day, pretending to be commercial flights. What if they decided to be more sneaky, and move their army in over a year, while they have a sympathetic american president?

Speculation is fun.

Also I wrote a 300 page book over the last 30 days, and my brain is still in creative overdrive.

Wait until they get fast tracked to citizenship by, say, serving in the military.

Texas has started arresting illegals.

I thought they always did? But I guess this is in front of the feds or something.
