TV: Lost Spoilers - Season 2 - Season 2 *SPECULATION SPOILERS*
I think that was probably just a typo. He was wearing a suit so I doubt he came out of the jungle.

I think the reporter goofed as well.
The Lost forums have some talk about the possibility of Eko having been on the island before (I don't remember why). Maybe he read something about that, read something about there being an "Other" amongst the tail section people, and confused Eko with Goodwin.
Tomorrow is the last new Lost of the year. </sob>

I had to tape Lost and it cut off right when Kate and Sawyer saw the horse at the end. Did anything happen after that? Did Locke and Eko play the spliced film?

Yeah, they played the film
Marvin Candle said to only use the computer to enter the code. Don't use it for anything else. People will try to trick you. If you use it improperly, it'll lead to another incident.
Then Michael noticed a "Hello" message on the screen (think Neo being contacted for the first time in The Matrix).
Michael typed back "Hello."
Then the message came in, "Who is this?"
Michael responded, "This is Michael."
The message came back, "Dad?"
Now that you know this,
there was a big update on the Hanso site:

I bumped into this. A lot of his theory seems plausable, though I doubt it's authenticity.

REMEMBER THIS IS THE SPOILER THREAD....
I'm thinking Michael is either going rogue or is going to die. I think the next episode is about his time with the Others.
Apparently the Michael-Walt storyline will be "resolved" this season.
NEW survivors next season. No word on how they arrive.
Walt will be back for season 3.

They've been saying in the podcast for months that the Walt thing will be resolved by the end of the season. I assume the "everyone with mouth agape and bug-eyed with wonder" shot from the preview was Walt showing up.
There has got to be at least two groups of Others. I think there's a bearded "Zeke/Mr. Happy/Walt-stealer" and a shaved version (twins... or maybe clones... but probably twins). The not-shaved version sometimes dresses up as the shaved version (hence the outfit and fake beard in the medical bunker).
I got an email from Hugh McIntyre this morning. His email address is: hugh.mcintyre@thehansofoundation.org
Keep your message short, and make it about maintaining the reputation of The Hanso Foundation and maybe he'll reply to you. I *hope* just writing it puts us on a Hanso mailing list.

My brother wrote me that he's so pissed off that they only answered one question, he's going to stop watching the series.
Personally, resolving the hatch storyline and getting Locke back on track was plenty. But we also learned more about the Others and that the Pearl facility was probably bunk.
It strengthened my belief that the Others only torment the bad guys (killers). When they take people, they take good people to rescue them.

I don't think they are being rescued. I think they are either recruiting them, or they are moved to a more advanced area of experimentation. I got the impression that Michael & Walt were the first people allowed to leave the island who were not part of the people working the place.
So you think Locke is still alive, then?

I've heard some things about season 3 that would solve a few mysteries on who is coming back and also raise some questions about what we saw happen.
However, this isn't a season 3 spoiler thread.
I must admit that I didn't like how it ended. I felt bad for her.

P.S. Paul, if you're following the stuff they're doing online, keep us posted please.

So how could they only take good people if all three of the ones they took are bad people/killers?It strengthened my belief that the Others only torment the bad guys (killers). When they take people, they take good people to rescue them.
(Just caught up on the last 10 episodes over the past two weeks)
It's not me, it's someone else.
So how could they only take good people if all three of the ones they took are bad people/killers?
They can't, which proves Paul's theory to be incorrect.
I think The Others is an exclusive swingers club, which is why they sent Hugo home.
So Locke/Ecko = dead?
Nope. Rumor has it that not only are Locke and Echo still alive, but Desmond may have survived too. These are rumors though. I've seen reports from eyewitnesses who have seen episodes being shot, but so far they only talk about Locke being spotted.

Well, I know that Libby will be back this year, but only in flashbacks, so I guess it's possible that they'll come back in dreams.
Although, one person associated with the show somehow said they were under the impression that Desmond will be back among the living and I know they didn't kill Locke or Echo.

I believe that they take good people to put them in some safe place, perhaps a place with a vaccine. Maybe a place off the island, or apart from the island in some way.So how could they only take good people if all three of the ones they took are bad people/killers?
When you say "all three of the ones they took" do you mean the ones left on the dock when the only good guy (Hurley) was told to go back? Because I doubt those people will be taken to any place of protection. They are being held, but not to undergo the same fate as the people on the list who were taken. They're being held for some other reason, probably because they're dangerous.
