OK, it shows up now. Supposedly all of the Oxide things are broken now by the patch. Indeed, they are.

Hmmmm. I just kicked it into Oxide 1.11 so it should all be up to date.
I'm about to leave work, 30 minutes to get home and then I'll get it running again.

Buncha interesting changes, but jesus with the grass textures.
Also, fucking red bears.
Maybe get an hour in late tonight.
E: Is the "kill cam" thing - so you see John killed by Frank(bazooka) - an Oxide mod?
E1: 1/2 craft no longer needed. The workbenches make it really really fast now.
E2: The loot spawns in big civ were roughly halved. I think the other sites were all changed as well
E3: Catt doing his part to augment the newbie population by arming them with automatic weapons...

Lol... well, I died. I was running through an area, and someone had a gun pointed at me, so I shot. They live just SW of my house in a small shack with a metal door inside a loot area. There's a few story house there as well, not sure who owns the house.
The only good news is that I broke into that shack and took all the valuable stuff earlier.

I bumped into "TheChosenOne" there, yesterday. He also had a gun pointed at me, but my gun was bigger, so he backed off.

Yep, Oxide is updated and Protection suddenly works right. So everyone is getting 2 hours of newb PvP protection (unless they attack someone, then it's immediately off). When you respawn you get 20 seconds of protection, and when logging in you get 10 seconds.
I can adjust any of those numbers - or remove it completely - but those seem fair to me.
I've also installed the airdrop tweaking mod. Now with 5 players there will be one airdrop every four server days. At 10 players the usual airdrop rules kick in.

So I was on this morning doing some cleaning while eating my breakfast, and Miss Carrie was telling me about how she had to murder someone last night.

Well, I was running down to loot the bldgs, still wearing a damned rad suit, and someone came up pointing a gun at me... unfortunately i had the mp5a4, which i had just taken out to get familar with, having never shot one before. So I unloaded a clip... and apparently completely missed. And didn't have enough bullets to reload. So I was toast pretty quickly.
Can shacks be destroyed with pick axes?

Yes. You can tear them down with a metal hatchet with enough whacks as well.

Takes about 70ish hits from a pickaxe to take down a wooden door. Check that door code first!
