People like “Danielle” are simply the worst human beings in existence. Toxic work environments are a real thing, and she's using it as an excuse to try and get attention on herself. Why? Because she's a miserable cunt. Claiming to feel unsafe because someone quoted a famous internet meme is not about the work environment, but about how this woman is living a miserable life and is desperate for attention and acceptance.

Fuck her and fuck everyone that empowers her. I love that they gave her a month off and she didn't realize the real reason was that they didn't want her around.

I don't have a horse in this race but I can't keep earbuds from staying in on their own, either, no matter which sizes I try. And the left falls out easier than the right. This seems like a bad decision to me.

I have been the only woman on the [redacted] Team in the [redacted] organization under [redacted]. [Redacted] is the head of that team, with 30+ people. I have attempted to change this, by trying to alter the recruiting methods, and improve the culture.

Maybe you should stop wasting your time convincing people women need special consideration in order to get hired to do certain things and instead spend energy convincing girls in school to move into more math/science areas. But shit, you wouldn't want to oppress any of them by telling them what careers they should and shouldn't shoot for, would you?

Except, yesterday, I was greeted with rape jokes in our work chat.

This is the part that's pissing me off because it follows immediately after her pointing out she's the only woman. The subtle implication is that when men hold a monopoly on the office, psychological domination is the status quo and anyone who doesn't share the frat boy mentality is unfairly discriminated against by some shadowy cabal of bros.

Rape jokes in work chat is basically where I completely draw the limit. I would prefer not for folks to make fun of something, which for me personally has caused me *incredible* trauma, having actually been sexually assaulted in the past.

Not to be brutal, but that's your fucking problem and hangup. If one cannot make jokes about anything which has caused trauma to someone, *incredible* or otherwise, firsthand or not, then it means your fragile feelings have placed a gag order on everyone within your earshot. But whatever, she gets a month off, comes back, and promptly starts bitching:

Whoa, whoa, whoa. You expected to use 100% of your battery?

In my case, my iPhone 6s will turn off with around 30-40% battery remaining, and will act like it’s run out of battery. To fix the issue, I have to plug my phone in for a bit, which will promptly show me that, miraculously, I still have 30% battery life left.

Couple suing Apple for FaceTime because the driver who killed their kid was using it.

I rarely come to Apple's defense, but this is a ridiculous lawsuit.
