Am staying away from re-reading any of the books and just watching the show. I know what is coming, but I am excited to see what the show brings. Some of the best scenes of the last season were add ons.

Since the books are better (almost always the case) I'm reading the books after each season ends. Enjoy the show, then enjoy the even better book ... the only downside being waiting another year before the next season and book.

His website looks like it's stuck back in 1998.

Yeah, my first thought was "Without him, this show loses at least half of his appeal." My second thought was "There's no way this is real."

Warwick Davis will be our new Tyrion Lannister!
I didn't read the article until just now and I've not seen more than ten seconds of this show, but I found it amusing.

Been "marathoning" season 3 for the first time... 2 episodes from the last one.
This show is soooooo, SO SO much better than Walking Dead.

Pretty famous book event.
What IP did you think you were watching?
There are no happy endings, or good people, in this story.

I should have known when we saw them smile and laugh for the first time.

The book was different, the wife wasn't there, for one thing.
But yeah, holy fuck. And the dude pictures this as an unending wasteland of death, with no happy endings.

Spoilers ahoy, obviously, up through season 3.
I have been on Team Daenerys since she survived the fire and burned the witch alive at the end of season 1. Glad to see her doing well, so far. Loved it when she locked the banker up in his own vault in season 2, and my favorite moment of season 3 was her turning her newly purchased slaves on the masters of the city, revealing she understood his language all along. Out of the entire show she seemed to be the one who got fucked over from the beginning, and turned it around simply by being awesome. I would see her return to Westeros and kill every Lannister she can find, excluding the Imp who leaves town to live with Shay the Funny Whore in her homeland.
The Lord Douche of the Twins has been foreshadowed for retribution of the gods, for killing guests under his roof.
The Fall of the Starks... it all started when Robert went to Winterfell to get Ned to be The Hand. That happened because the Lannisters poisoned the old Hand. The Lannisters are all alive and generally well and being douchebags... save for a few young cousins. They really need some comeuppance... I foresee season 4 or 5 when their bank calls in the tens of millions in debt the Lannisters owe. Imp mentioned that in passing.
Sir Jaime the Leftie has become a sympathetic character, with his, "How many lives have you saved?" - "Half a million." There's certainly a mutual respect between him and Gigantor the Chick Knight.... will that become something and piss off Circe the Queen of Incest?
Is ANYONE going to stick a knife in Joffrey's gut, already?
Brand the Wonder Cripple: will his ability to get in an animal's head enable him to control dragons? Hmmm.
John Snow: I saw speculated that his mother, whose identity we do not know, may have been a Targaryen, which would give HIM affinity for dragons. Hmmmm. Also, did his girlfriend not shoot him in anything vital on purpose?
Got to go, peeps are here.

The debt is owed by the Crown TO the Lannisters.

Imp said the crown owed the Lannisters millions, but the Lannisters owed their bankers tens of millions.
Unless I misheard that exchanged because my ears were deceived by some spell.

I think it's the Kingdom that has been borrowing from both the Lannisters and the foreign bankers. But Lannisters are currently running the Kingdom, so it doesn't matter either way.
Also, Jon got hit by ARROWS OF LOVE, which have a reduce damage
