Counterpoint to the comic: evolution doesn't design poorly. It doesn't design. Even calling it a tinkerer is too much credit. More like a blind drunk fumbling around in the dark trying to crack a safe with a billion other dummy safes around. Even that's too much because the drunk is consciously trying to do something.

Secondly, a really cool design would have us convert wasted matter into usable resources, like your sweat being potable water.

I did that once by accident, but with a larger knife and the other direction.

It didn't hurt at all. I kinda went into shock, or something, cuz I felt fine. I rinsed and dried it off, after the blood stopped, I could look straight into my hand and see the innards. I could see the muscle and tendons moving when I moved my fingers. Could see some bone.

Drove myself to the urgent care.

I'm not buying that skeleton one at the end. Looks like a mix of human and gorilla bones.

Ha, I read like 3 paragraphs and then skimmed the rest because I kept looking at the bones.

Nailed it.

Speaking of:
Shirt sizes don't get taller, they get wider

That is sooo true. And it's not just shirts. You try to find pants that have a 36" inseam. The waist is like 40". So I gotta buy freakin' high-waters.

I blame the obesity epidemic.

Just get the pants untailored and have them hemmed. Default length of unhemmed pants is 38 inches.

Unhemmed jeans? Where do you buy them?

Jeans are tougher, but if you shop the fancy pants places some have jeans, too.

I bet it's funny when you're done and let go of them.
