Clearly he was talking about Ireena, but we could have had more fun with that moment. Take his offer and then start unhitching one of the horses.
"What are you doing?"
"Getting you this horse. Her name is Tatiana."
"I mean that woman you have there!"
"OH! Our bad! Yeah, no. You can't have her. Besides her name isn't Tatiana. There is a girl who looks just like her in Barovia. Last I saw her she was in the backroom of the shop there. However, that was a secret, so you didn't hear that from us!"

Yes, disco Stu was a good addition to our game. As far as i'm concerned he can join us whenever he'd like, as an NPC or just a 6th member of the party.

Also, i thought i read the other day that Troy wanted to take off next Friday. I'm ok with that, as i might might not be able to make it, is that still the case?

You mean this Friday the 27th or next Friday the 4th?

On the 4th, I'll be traveling home from Vegas. If everything goes perfectly, I'll still be an hour or more late.

I meant this Friday the 27th. I have no solid plans as of yet, but i was sure that i read Troy said something about taking this week off.

Either he edited/deleted a post or i literally had a dream about that.. You know, like Mordigan's dark dreams...

Sleeping all weekend helped me regain some constitution after too many long nights

I have an easy week this week. Friday the 27th is the next session. Usual time @9PM EST - Stu said he had a blast and wants in.

e: feel free to DM anything about your dudes ahead of time. Villaki looks fun.

I want to go back to personalized journals like we did for your first night in Barovia. But I wanted to change things up a bit. To focus more on collaborative storytelling.

To that end, I've created your own PRINTABLE handout and notes packets for Act 2. It will let you take notes during sessions, and is a tool other DMs have suggested.

It has a city map, a place to put down items and bonds you acquire in the city, pages for notes about your character and others, and artsy stuff.

Homework:

Before Friday's session, please fill out the NIGHTTIME ENTRANCE FORM, found in the handout. The preferred way to share it is via post on the ROLL20 forums. Other options are email, or DMing me the answers. You are creating an actual item available for audit at the town hall and immediately view-able to the guards.

Your prompt for filling it out is:

Image

The two guards at the City Gates have just seen what transpired on the Old Svalich Road less than a quarter mile in front of them. They stare at you wide eyed and stammer.

Finally, they visibly pull themselves together and confer quietly.

One guard rushes back into the city - yelling for a supervisor and backup - while locking the gate behind him.

The remaining guard approaches you and nervously pushes an official-looking paper into your hands.

"Look, I don't know who you are, or what exactly just happened out there, but everyone has to fill out this form if they are entering the town after dusk."

"Baron Vargas would have our hides if we broke his decree."

"Hey Szoldar, why are you out so late? Wait - where's Yevgeni?"

Session 4/27. 9PM EST

Zelda helped me proof and fix some language on the copy. Bless that woman by the holy Light of Lathander.

This is pretty cool! a couple of questions though.

so you want us to fill out our form and post it on the Roll20 forums. These are for public AND our group to all see?

Happy thoughts?

You said you want to focus more on collaborative story telling. These handouts are for private use but do you want to see them? Should we put what we think about the members of our group so that you can use that for hooks in the story?

Post the filled out form to our ROLL20 campaign forum so the non dtman forum members can see it. It’s just visible to party members and me on that forum.

The “Happy Thought” doesn’t make sense to your character either. It’s a storyline related addition. Fill it out like your character would.

The "Nighttime Entrance Form" is for everyone, and once you fill it out, everyone in the game can see it. Your Notes are your own.

Taking notes on the city, NPCs, and PCs is always encouraged. But they are yours to write down and remember. They are private.

Nightttime Entrance Form answers can be short. Extra credit If you want to describe what your character looks like currently, or their general health state, as that will help me when filling out the guard portion on your forms.

I filled out Muriel Martikov’s Nighttime Entrance Form as an example and posted it to the Roll20 forums. I'll get Ireena's up tomorrow.

I see nobody has filled out the Entrance Form on Roll20, including me. I'll try to get to that tonight but with the draft on i will be sidetracked by that.

Looking forward to Friday night. Is Stuart playing? if so is he still going to play as Zsoldar or whatever his name is?

Stuart is in as Szoldar.

I just added Ireena's sheet on the ROll20 forum. I filled the half out I need from you guys with a pen.
https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/63208 ... -out-forms

Then the bottom half I do as the guard. I think it will make sense when you see it. I'll get on a little earlier on Friday and can help people finish theirs.

e: I removed their Roll20 tokens, they were distracting from the text

I enjoyed that Gordon. Poor Mordigan...

Speaking of, who is Morganthra?

Finally, I didn't put it down, but Koban refuses the health check, ala Ireena.
