OSU's WR Michael Thomas is fighting a Twitter war against Alabama right now.

--------
Colin Cowherd was doing the same thing today. His top 4 are Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan State, and Ohio State. Bama is at #5 for him. His argument is that the SEC is the weakest conference in the country right now and they're living on reputation alone. Calls Bama a one man offensive team.
--------
Kirk Herbstreit is doing Q&A with folks on the Twitters saying if UNC beats Clemson, then OSU might get selected over UNC... Catt would be MAD!!!
It'll get nuts if the Tar Heels and Gators pull off upsets this weekend.

That took to long to happen. Glad the AD was walked out too.

On the one hand, yeah, I'd be mad.
On the OTHER hand... I mean, we lost to SC. Barely, with some bad turnovers and bad times. And we really wouldn't have beat anyone BUT Clemson.
On the other other hand, shit gets confusing once you look at comparative records. I mean OSU lost to MSU, but MSU lost to Nebraska, doesn't that make OSU better?
How is 2-loss Stanford so far up there? I hope USC gets revenge.

If upsets happen this weekend, and I don't think they will (they never do when they're telegraphed like this), I don't understand how you could argue for a 2 loss Pac 12 team over a one loss ACC champ or even the 1 loss defending champion.
Right now, I've made my peace with:
Clemson
Oklahoma
Big Ten Champ
Bama
as the top 4. Yeah, OSU's resume is actually better than Bama's, but Bama won their conference, OSU didn't.
However, if Bama loses, I think OSU should be the next team in. If Clemson and Bama lose, then OSU and NC should be in. If just Clemson loses, then I'd be ok with NC getting in over us, but I'd still be pissed that weak ass Bama is in.
If I was you, I'd be pissed that the weak ass SEC gets more credit than the ACC. Colin Cowherd made a phenomenal case yesterday that the SEC is secretly the weakest conference in the country and nobody can admit it because all we hear every year is SEC hype.
Why is a one loss SEC champ better than a one loss ACC champ?

Well, I think the SEC does have history. And with as little head-to-head competition as there is, it fills the information void.
I really don't think UNC is a top 10 team. I just don't. I love the team, and the coaches are great, but the player talent isn't quite there, and we've gotten somewhat lucky with an easy schedule.

Could the Big Ten be more boring?

MSU received a gift. Neither they, nor Iowa should be in the CFP.
But at least they're having a competitive game. Every other game was a boring blow out.
Stupid UNC and Florida...

UNC made it close, and would have been closer if not for that imaginary offsides call.

I'll pull for MSU and another Big 10 title, truthfully be rooting for anyone to eliminate the SEC, but will really be thinking that Oklahoma looks the best right now.

CFP
Well, on the one hand, I won't have to pick between MSU and Clemson in the first round. Was kinda hoping Clemson could avoid OU though.
Go Spartans/Tigers.

UNC vs Baylor - Russell Athletic
OSU vs Notre Dame - Fiesta Bowl

UNC and Baylor should both win.
Also, the top four rankings are bullshit.
Clemson at #1 is fine, but the rest is shit. MSU beat two top five teams and gave each their only loss. They also beat Oregon who destroyed Stanford, another top 10 team. They also beat ranked Michigan. Their only loss was due to a fluke play on the road.
I don't know Oklahoma's schedule by heart, but aside from getting blown out by Texas they beat several highly ranked teams.
Meanwhile Bama beat who exactly? Fuck the SEC.
It should be Clemson, MSU, Oklahoma, and then Bama.

Sarkisian sues USC for unlawful termination.
This will be the most high profile test for alcoholism being a "disability".

At the end of the day, I think the CFP just wanted a Saban/MSU reunion.

Too many bowl games
Starting with the Dec. 19 Celebration Bowl, there will be a record 40 bowl games. That means more than 60 percent of the teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision will be playing in bowl games.
With so many slots available, not every team was able to reach the required six wins to get in, so the NCAA approved a plan to fill the bowls with five-win teams based on their Academic Progress Ratings for 2013-14, the most recent scores available. Nebraska, Minnesota and San Jose were awarded the slots.

At least 2016 will have some decent games to start the season
The UGA-UNC game adds to a tremendous neutral-site slate to open the 2016 season, joining USC-Alabama (Dallas), LSU-Wisconsin (Green Bay’s Lambeau Field) and Florida State-Ole Miss (Orlando).

Bo Ryan retires.
This is a huge loss to the Big Ten and college basketball.
