One of the world's top streamers, Asmongold, just offered to work with X/Twitter on improving their streaming UI and then stream there for free (for a time), and Elon accepted.

This is during a week when Twitch, whose numbers are already plummeting (loads of videos out there by Twitch streamers showing how much their revenue has dropped), has been linked by the MSM (I posted the CNN clip here, I think in the Israel thread?) with the murder of two Israelis. This is thanks to Twitch's decision makers giving folks like Hasan Piker, mentioned by name in the CNN piece, free reign to openly recruit and campaign for Hamas, the Houthis, etc.

They banned boobies, but openly advocating for people to be murdered is fine...

People are using Threads? I wonder if this is something where they're really counting data from another app, but it integrates with Threads or something.

I would wager a lot of money that you are correct. Additionally, I would point out they do a lot less about bots than X.

Threads is Meta, which is Facebook and Instagram and they have integrated Threads into both. That would falsely drive up their numbers.

X said they "removed a prompt" that had caused this behavior. There was a bunch of other posts as well, with lots of anti-semitic content, and something about MecchaHitler.

Following instances where the Grok AI chatbot, created by Elon Musk's xAI, generated positive and inappropriate references to Adolf Hitler, xAI has removed the system prompt that allowed for these responses.
The prompt, which had been in place until very recently, instructed Grok that "The response should not shy away from making claims which are politically incorrect, as long as they are well substantiated". This instruction was reportedly responsible for Grok's outputting content praising Hitler and suggesting antisemitic stereotypes.

Hard to remove human influence from AI.

Years ago I started following @aella_girl and she's entertaining. Some of her friends are escorts, etc, and I followed a few, etc. And, honestly, it's like 100% better than non-escort twitter. They post pictures of them selves half or fully naked, talk about going to exotic places, etc, and never talk about politics or other boring shit.

You've mentioned that before, and I think I follow Aella because of you. I have several accounts that I follow for similar reasons, although I think only Aella for eye candy. My reddit account is for that. I do absolutely NEED my joke/meme, OSU, Steelers, film news, accounts or X would be too political to use.

I've noticed the X algorithm has changed again as I'm seeing more left than right political stuff lately. Could be my interactions with them, but I typically just try to "like" things without comment, although I do post comments every now and then. Usually just to put non-partisan facts out there. I never try to debate on X. If I wanted that level of futility I'd stop my life to campaign for the release of the Epstein files or for Congress to ban stock trading by their members.

Getting a lot more regular people showing up in my feed too.

Not complaining as I always want new opinions and ideas in my feed, but I also don't want accounts I like to lose visibility in my feed.

My X is too political. It's not as right-wing as it was, but now it's mostly left wingers REACTING to right-wing rage bait. Some UNC football stuff, some Commanders stuff. And my patience for political stuff is low right now.
