Team Fortress 2 - Might as well give it its own thread.
The comic almost makes some minor sense if you read it right to left, but there must be a followup conclusion somewhere because that looks like the midpoint of a story of some sort.
As to killing snipers, if I'm up against a sniper I can't snipe, I tend to go scout, run up behind 'em, and bat their head in. Snipers in their scope are the slowest class to respond to a good head battin'.

The TF2 talk in the other thread gave me an itch.... and I had no memory of not even having the game installed. Even at 600 KB/s it is going to take hours to DL, it looks like. If I knew where my Orange Box was (still) packed I'd just grab the DVD.
Dammit.
Anyway, here's an awesome vid. Watch it.

I recommend the TF2 Wiki: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Main_Page
Even new weapons show up within a few minutes of a patch. It's a very actively updated wiki. But skip the weapons page and go straight to the class you want to see the weapons of. The full weapons listing page isn't updated as much as it should be.
I also recommend this site: http://willitcraft.com/ which will look at your backpack and tell you what new items you can craft from the junk you have in there currently. As well as giving you the recipe to use. Pretty good stuff, that.

There's two things sort of like that. The one that is a primary weapon - replacement for the rocket launcher - is the Cow Mangler 5000:

There's also a smaller one that can't be reflected that is a replacement for the shotgun called The Righteous Bison which is more interesting.
I have the Cow Mangler 5000, and I don't think I care for it. Not needing ammo is nice, but not enough to balance out the slower firing, lessened damage, and lack of crits. But if you can pull off a nice fully-charged shot then it's not totally worthless. And besides, it looks kind of cool.
I don't have the Rightous Bison yet, but I want to get it and try it. It also does reduced damage and fires slow, but it does this odd thing where it pulses as it travels so it can sometimes travel through someone without hurting them and hit the guy behind them. But that's rare.
