Cell Phone Jammers
Doesn't the bouncer correct the problem for both the talkers AND the phones? If mine vibrates, it doesn't bother you, I get my call. If it rings, I'm out the door and you know that I'm out $8 and don't get to see the end of the movie. I don't understand the mentality of sticking it to people simply because it doesn't hurt you. . .
Of course by this time it's been a huge distraction, and the problem hasn't been solved.Zetleft wrote:And if everyone were as respectful of you then I'd have no problems... alot of other douchbags will just try and carry on a conversation while in the theatre, and I'd take great joy in seeing them thrown out on their asses.

The people that bug me the most are the ones who have their phone on silent and get up to exit the theater when it goes off, yet still answer it and carry on a conversation while walking out.
They KNOW its rude, yet they can't wait 10 more seconds before answering? Its even more irritating when you take into account that just about every phone on the planet will show them who called if they happen to miss it.

We need to invent some sort of device that could record the identity of the caller... and perhaps allow the caller to leave some short-form message? when a phone user is indisposed and can't answer the phone.
If only the technology existed.
That and we need to invent courteous people.
