This is all over the place the last two days. What we called it is in the spoiler.

It was called "Smear the queer" and it had absolutely nothing to do with LGBTQ. It simply rhymed. Related: Gay used to just mean happy. And to be fair, considering their divorce and DV rates are so much lower than straights and lesbians, it seems to be an appropriate word.

Meh. My days are such jumbled messes these days it takes me a minute to remember what I did the day or night before, let alone a post from what might as well be a century ago.

Also, it IS currently trending, so...

Not really a "thing", but I saw a post this morning that made me chuckle.

Redditor discusses how hitchhiking was safe back in the 70s...

The commentors are quick to point out that hitchhiking has, in fact, never been safe.

Best comment: "This is a great example of survivor bias"

Gad can be a good follow. This is pretty funny.

(I know this issue is also being discussed in the Racism thread, but it's also a trending internet thing, so I wanted to give it representation here.)

It really is amazing how upset an ad campaign for jeans has made people. I would bet you any amount of money if they had used Rhiannon instead of blonde haired, blue eyed Sydney Sweeney, the same people bitching wouldn't have said shit, even though, by their logic, they should...
Oh wait, Beyonce did, in fact, do a jeans ad campaign, which was met with zero controversy.

Which only this information, which one are you going for, and these are all cartoon depictions of actual women.

I picked
5. And my order would be: 5,2,3,4,1 assuming this is their daily wear.

I do not see a single intimidating or "strong" woman in that picture.

Assuming this is everyday wear, I'll take the low maintenance girl over the high maintenance girl every time.

Why the fuck is your girl wearing a bridesmaid dress to the mall? The fuck is wrong with her? :D

Extremely unlikely.

High maintenance women are rarely good in bed, and even when they are, it's usually means to an end.

Ha! I will say that I'm glad we finally disagree on women. This will make assigning them to our harems that much easier.
