A Working Man (Statham) is #1 at the box office this weekend. Snow White dropped to #2 in its second week with its ticket sales dropping 66%...ouch. The Minecraft Movie opens next week, which will target most of Snow White's audience.

Honestly, I blame her parents more than anyone else. They've clearly coddled and sheltered her to the point where she truly thinks the world revolves around her. She's probably never heard anyone tell her "no", and rarely had her behavior corrected, if ever. She's probably gotten every thing she wanted, and then her first film was starring in a Spielberg movie. She has been given zero skills to handle her fame. Worse, she's come along at a time when the public is pretty fed up with Hollywood overall, let alone their activism.

How fucking arrogant and deluded do you have to be to make a video where you tell half of America that you don't need their business?

Parents.... but also social media, where she was taught that there aren't consequences for telling half of America you don't need their business. You've always been speaking to your exact audience, not the people you wanted to buy your used car.

Megan Fox also never recovered from not knowing sometimes you're supposed to sell cars, not shit on people on camera.

It would be fine, if they just remade the story live action, without race swapping, gender swapping, sexuality swapping, or adding feminist/anti-male messages.

But I'm guessing they are incapable of not being insufferable with their current creative department all under the age of 29, so instead are pulling the plug.

FYI, the word on the live action Tangled remake from about a year ago is that they were aiming to cast a black woman in the lead role.

It's honestly super offensive to every other culture that Disney thinks their stories are shit and the only ones worth telling are Euro ones.
