Biden is your front runner and, if he enters, will be the next president. (imho)

Biden represents the middle of the road for Republicans and Independents who won't vote for Trump, but also don't want to vote for Hillary or any of the far left socialist Dems like Sanders and Warren.

I agree. I think if it isn't Biden, Trump has a really good shot at re-election.

The composition of the Democratic field represents the diversity of the country. With so many serious frontrunners who are not, for a change, older white men, the Democrats are showing that they are a party representing the future of the country. In contrast to the kind of rhetoric that has come from President Donald Trump, an ode to the whiteness and masculinity of a limited American political tradition, the Democrats are making a strong statement about what their party is all about.
Ugh

Ugh
Yet not diverse enough to not include communists.

Never thought I'd say this, but unless the economy goes far south (2008 or worse) or Biden runs, I think we're going to have Trump in '20. Democrats have gone just too extreme

Depends who the nominee ends up being. If it's Biden, he wins...unless he picks Hillary as his running mate. Unless the Starbucks guy really pulls as many left/Dem votes as people are thinking.

If it's any of the far left wingers, we truly might get four more years of Trump. Running against the "New Green Deal" would just be too easy. Although, I wouldn't put it past Trump and the Repubs to fuck it up.

I think a Republican needs to really step up and challenge Trump. But who?

I'm pretty sure Trump will get a challenger, but it'll be someone like Kasich. That'd be an interesting test case. Historically, when a sitting candidate is challenged in the primary they lose. But I don't know any candidate has been challenged from the center. Kennedy came at Carter from the left. Buchanan came at Bush from the right. I think a Kasich challenge might end up helping Trump.

Barring the Dems self-destructing again if the Republicans want to win the next election they need to put a centrist up against Trump to unite indies, and the folks on the left/right who feel their parties are being controlled by the extremes.

I feel like this is our best chance for a 3rd party candidate in a while, but that it would mostly split the centrists/moderate-left and give us another 4 of Trump.

Like I said, that Starbucks guy is expected to steal a lot of the vote, so you're right. This is the best chance for a 3rd party person since Perot.

Good, because that's high on nobody's list when they go to vote.
