According to TorrentFreak, Game of Thrones averages around 3.9 million pirated downloads per episode. According to the great Internet resource known as Wikipedia, only 3.8 million people watch Game of Thrones on HBO

I use my parents HBO GO account, morality saved.

Also, HBO Is dumb. Sell HBO Go by itself and they would make millions more a month.

Break off with AMC and create a new option instead of the endless reality show BS I see on hotel tv.

Forgot to mention. The second to last episode of the second season has a movie sized budget, involves a bunch of main character storylines, and never leaves the area in and around King's Landing.

It is epic.

I can't tell if there is actual controversy about this, or it's just drama for the sake of drama.

It's not like anyone even noticed this, it was on the 1st season, and the scene that used it as a backdrop was more interesting and important. It's been on Blueray for months.

1) Silly, but an interesting bit of trivia about the show's production, and 2) HBO's executive response is completely absurd and they're a bunch of hopeless retards.

Basically, no one even knew until they got the DVDs and listened to the commentary, and one of the producers or someone was like "There's G Dub's head"

Such a non-issue. Even if they did it on purpose, imho.

They gave us a pretty good battle this season, after just teasing us in the first.

I read the first two books. I strongly recommend reading the books as they are much richer than the show and most excellent, and about 80% of the show is clearly cut back in order to not go broke trying to make it true to the book. These are some epic books. Especially the Battle of Blackwater Bay, that thing was insane in the book compared to the tiny little skirmish on the show. And whole major characters are just missing from the show, with their plot points taken over by others or just skipped entirely.

But do wait until after each season is done before reading that book, because it's much better to love the show and then love the book, than to love the book and then be disappointed by the tiny scale of the show.

Just picked up the season 2 BD ($40 walmart). Time for a quick rewatch before season 3 starts,

Just finished Season 2... Pretty awesome, although the last episode wasn't quite as good as I had hoped.

I keep just getting a picture of dudes in period costumes playing a strange version of musical chairs.
