Creighton, which lost to Georgetown 73-48 in Saturday's Big East tournament championship game, had attracted the largest reported national championship bet at sportsbook PointsBet, a $10,000 wager on the Bluejays at 20-1 odds.
Yeah, but I guess some people have $$ to piss away.

Does anyone do actual news and clickbait better than Yahoo?
"Nation's winningest team denied postseason bid"
It's 26-4 Belmont who played ZERO teams in Quadrant 1 and ONE team in Quadrant 2 and lost. They also didn't win their conference championship.
The article quickly points out they have no case to get into the tournament, and only lightly implies not getting to the NIT was a snub.

No, but two months ago they'd have Archie Miller, so everyone will be watching what he does at IU. Which is really unfair to Holtmann.
Also, I really wonder what the pitch was to Donovan, IF there was a pitch, and what stopped him.
So...
that worked out

It should be noted that since Indiana decided to treat Bobby Knight like shit their program has been shit.

Tantrum throwing asshole to most, good person to 95% of his former players, including Isiah Thomas and the kid he "whipped"), and undeniably great bball mind. He made his bed, but he still deserved better from the university.

Meh. ORU could win. OSU has a starter out, their best player is hurt and off the floor right now, and ORU is no joke. They haven't been blown out all year. They're always "in" games, even when OSU beat them earlier this year. Plus, OSU sucks on D and has no height.
It would suck to lose, but wouldn't absolutely shock me.

Liddell is back in, so that's good. No idea when Young will return, but he's the heart of the team. He plays hard. He has a concussion, so maybe round 2?

I thought the same thing initially, but then saw a preview of the game and a few folks said OSU would have their hands full and that this was the toughest draw for a #2 this year. Who knew?

Must suck to only have a 94% chance of winning. 538 says you're basically equal with Iowa and Bama's draws, and just slightly behind Houston.
