Not necessarily, but one would hope.

Also, have they run out of women? Is that why marriage is down?

They discouraged people from having babies, so people prioritized sons, but i don't see much skew in their population pyramid.

Feels like this should be much bigger news.

Third, what the fuck is happening at TTUN? How many Chinese spies do they have on campus up there? If it's not spies, it's computer hacking perverts and sport ruining cheaters.

As I understand it, pretty much everyone in China has to be part of the China Youth program (or something to that effect) from age 18 to 30 or so. So, yes, they all (or nearly) will have this evidence. Cuz otherwise you can't do much in China.

I'm guessing actual intent for harm wasn't there, which is why it's not a bigger deal. It seems like this was really just someone being stupid for their research.

Although, that alone should get him/her blacklisted from scientific communities.

Probably, I think I remember a few other stories like this of someone smuggling in science samples for their work.
