LSU self-imposing penalties due to boosters paying players.

Oh, and Odell giving players cash on the field right after the national championship game, which LSU said was fake money. That alone is such a gigantic red flag. The proper response was, "We have no idea what he was doing, but we're going to find out and take appropriate action." The incorrect response that screams your program is dirty is, "The money was fake!"

Movie money looks VERY real too. I does clearly say "For Movie Use Only" or something to that affect at the top. But it's replacing other words that are normally there. Everything else looks legit. I'm sure it's missing watermarks, the band that's woven into it, etc. But if you aren't paying attention, it could easily be passed off as real. Well, at least the ones I've seen. The ones in your link look fake. The ones I saw, the "For Movie Use Only" was more subtle and blended with the aesthetics of the real thing.

There are multiple grades of fake money. The ones they use for closeups look more real. The more realistic one can only be printed on one side though.

Bama coach suggesting Coach K questioning season is about losing.

Posting this just so Catt can get a chuckle. This has been headline news for over 24 hours on ESPN.

I feel like it's a cheap/easy shot. I more agree with Coach K than the Bama coach, for sure.

Physically, I agree with you. But, it's hard to hit that sweet spot on a football, whereas a soccer ball is a complete circle. It's all sweet spot.
Her PAT was better

WOOT WOOT! Huge, huge game for us in the also-ran after Clemson status in the ACC. Running ALL OVER them, shame we couldn't get one of those losses back :)

Our QB has a TD passing, 1 rushing, and 1 receiving!

UNC: Most teammate running yards ever. 544 yards. Just wow. 778 for total offense. 11.6 YPC. Those 2 have been amazing all year long, but damn.

Hell of a win for UNC.

Pitt Panthers bow out of bowl game.

Utah State cancels game due to players refusing to play over religious concerns.

4-5 LSU knock off Florida.

On ESECPN's NCAA football page the top story is about SEC and ACC teams trying to question OSU's inclusion in the CFP rankings based on fewer games played. Interesting how fewer games played doesn't matter to the SEC in all previous years or fewer conference games or fewer P5 games and so on.

I'm on record as saying I don't think OSU will win anything this year, but I, and most of the country based on polls and ESPN's ratings, are sick of the double standards for ESPN's business partners.

Sorry yall didn't get to play Youngstown State this year :D

I think there's certainly an argument about the Big Ten's much shorter schedule. No one's talking about USC. At the end of the day, right now, I'd say Bama, UND, Clemson, and OSU, with order dependent on the championship games, assuming they go as expected. 2-loss Clemson probably doesn't get in.

We used to play them. They were our link to Tressel, and I believe he's still the president there. Now B1G rules don't allow it. However, anyone in the SEC can. It's funny how the conferences with the strictest rules trying to ensure fair, competitive play are the ones that have trouble getting into the CFP.

I think it the year of covid, everything is off the table. The B1G is strictly playing P5 schools. Does it really matter if they missed some Group of 5 games? The committee doesn't even care that the Gof5 exists.
TheCatt wrote: No one's talking about USC.
I have seen USC discussed. They were #15 and just won again. Let's see where the committee moves them this week.
TheCatt wrote: 2-loss Clemson probably doesn't get in.
For who? 2 blowout losses Georgia? Texas A&M who was routed by Bama? 2-loss Florida? 2-loss Iowa State? 2-loss Clemson would be a favorite over all of them.

Now if you want to bring undefeated Cincinnatti, undefeated Coastal Carolina, or undefeated USC into the top four, they'd have better arguments than the teams I just listed. If the committee is going to let in a Gof5 team, this is the year to do it.

Illinois parts ways with Lovie Smith.

Pretty steep fall after being considered a somewhat successful NFL coach.

Sure, but OSU played 5 games, and SEC/ACC went for about 10.

Texas A&M, would be my guess. CCU isn't that good. They're good, but lucky. Maybe Cincinnati.

OSU should have played in 9, but Warren is the worst commissioner in sports.

A&M has no business being in the CFP. I think the whole country, outside of SEC homers, would rather it be Cincy. Give the little guys a shot.
