Friend of mine just texted me to remind me that I had tickets that will be refunded now. I had forgotten we got tickets. Oh well.

Former PSU player alleges James Franklin is exactly who everyone suspects.
I like how the 68 players interviewed all had the same story, except for this part:
Other players, when asked whether Franklin told them not to discuss team issues, either denied Franklin said that or told school investigators they interpreted it to mean don't talk to the media, according to the report. Some players said Franklin encouraged them to be honest and open if questioned by investigators.
Credibility kind of dies when everyone has different versions of what should be a very straightforward and communicated message.

One of my earliest FB memories is Danny White doing this to the Redskins. As a ST coach, that would NEVER happen to my team. Every god damned day we'd practice against it

The first one, I assume he was still trying to make sure he could make it. The later one(s), I have no idea.

Dabo accuses FSU of ducking Clemson.
FSU's Norvell denies it.
Clemson let a player exhibiting Covid symptoms to travel with the team. What were they thinking? You know, besides "We paid this kid a lot of money to play, and he's going to play!"

Swinney said Sunday that Clemson followed all required protocols when it traveled with a player who had shown prior symptoms of COVID-19 but did not receive a positive test result until after the team arrived in Tallahassee, Florida, on Friday night. Swinney implied that FSU's administrators wanted out of the game and used the positive test as an excuse to cancel.
What the fuck? He has symptoms and you didn't just leave him at home?

Awesome that he just ad-libbed it. I was watching a game a couple of weeks ago (different teams), and I realized that they should have just ad-libbed the same thing, cuz the D was already 10 yards down field before his first step

The trouble in OSU's secondary:
Day 3 and Dabo is still smacking talking FSU.

Yeah, Dabo's way out of touch here.
UNC's secondary has been cursed this year. We had 3 players opt out due to COVID. Our most experienced player has bad grade and can't play. Our best player (and best named, Storm Duck), got injured in the 2nd game and hasn't come back. Our next starting CB got hurt after 5 games. Another player that was awesome 2 years ago sat out last year with a bad injury, and hasn't hit back in form.
Oh well.

OSU should have played for the title last year, but got screwed.
This year, they'll probably get in and get murdered because their secondary is so bad. Thankfully, their incoming classes are all ridiculous. So ridiculous that Patrick Mahomes was tweeting about it today.

Meaningless rankings are out.
Based on what I saw on Twitter last night, pretty much every fan base is pissed and asking for changes. 2 humiliating losses by Georgia yet they're still top 6, Texas A&M being ranked way too high, undefeated BYU and Cincinnati being ranked too low, Indiana being disrespected despite housing teams and only losing to #4 OSU in a close game, 1 loss Clemson being ranked too high after almost losing to BC as well(Not sure I buy this criticism since Lawrence was out, but it does show they're pretty reliant on him.), and so on.
I think the committee's SEC bias is what's eventually going to lead to something different. The Pac-12, Big 12, and Group of 5 are being proven year after year to essentially have no respect and no chance.
I don't buy BYU either. They haven't played anyone in the top 50.
Cincinnati I buy. They're legit good. Not good enough to win the playoffs, but good enough to be in the conversation.

they love the SEC

Eh, stop beating up terrible teams and join a real conference.

Really a knock on OSU, more than props to Indiana.

Eh. ACC needs some of that SEC-love.

Top 8 or it stays this way.
