Thanks. I'm still one thing at a time for now. I was curious if the elite boar, or whatnot, might be worth raising some day :)

I have some extra monies on my Google Play + Apple accounts, and thought "I wonder what premium/gold costs on those"

Online/web - $10 for 1700 gold (1600+100 bonus)
Apple Store - $10 for 1275 gold (1200 + 75 bonus)

Online - $15 for 30 days Premium
Apple - $16 for 1 month

Google prices are the same as Apple prices. They really screw you on the gold department. But if we keep playing, I might move my Premium subscription (though, also would miss out on the starter pack stuff)

The "starter bundles" are not available on the Apple store.

I put two chest in the middle circle of the guild hall with Guild access. It keeps an accounting log as well so we can see who's taking everything!

I don't know google docs well enough to get that started (sharing, permissions, etc). . . Set it up, and I'll copy/paste.

Just went to the redzone for the first time. Had my wife watching so she could see it possible to get stuff and wouldn't be that big of a deal. I died.

Just kidding. I did go though and brought an ax. Wanted to get some T6 wood, because I have yet to use that skill. There was so much wood there, I filled up in no time. (I need to gather a different material. . .) Also killed a few mobs and saw that you make quite a bit more off those kills than in Yellow/Blue. I was riding my pack horse, so really couldn't carry much, but still came back with 75k in wood in a very small amount of time. I had planned on running to Carleon, just because, but didn't make it out of the first red zone because I just kept collecting.

I did get "attacked" by a red. I saw his name come up, so I jumped on my horse and started away. I no sooner take a few steps and he's leap slash attacking his way towards me. Never got close enough to get a hit, but had I delayed when seeing his name, he would have. Found a few bodies picked clean. There's some good resource gathering in red zones, apparently.

I would have to start with Google: Where is google docs

Ok, here's the link:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c8X ... sp=sharing

I see no way to start/open a spreadsheet, or to upload/import one. Google says I do File, Import, but there is no import option. Google docs sucks.

Ok, here's another try. Had to learn how to upload a spreadsheet to my google drive, then open it in Google Sheets, then share. I hate this.

Well shit. . . was supposed to be a link to the file. ..

One more try:

Nope. Still not it. Your "Just click share" tutorial sucks.

Ok, seriously. I didn't expect it to be this hard. How the fuck do you do/share a spreadsheet? I uploaded it to my google drive, but I can't open it from google docs. Says it's not a compatible format.

Oh, did you use Excel?

I thought everyone used Google these days.

For Excel, you have to import to Google first.

OK, I see it as "Copy of Laborer Math"

I literally said "I don't use google docs!"

I don't want all my personal business shit up in some cockamamie cloud.

Also, I don't use Excel. I use openoffice.org saving it in .xls format. The 90's were awesome.

At this point, the doc is up there, I just can't post a link without the board converting it into a viewer.

Code: Select all

I knew Excel, many, many years ago. Then, when I started my business, I couldn't afford hundreds of dollars for MS Office, so we started using openoffice. Have tried a few times to move back to MS Office, but it is SO different now, we are like "Fuck it. OO works." and we stick with it.

I switched to selling my treehearts by Sell Order instead of just being a price taker. Listed for 45800 each, sold quickly. The immediate buy price was between 40k and 41k.

Trying the same with cabbage, going much more slowly. (Buy price was 368; I sold at 405 with a sell order)

I do buy orders quite a bit. I've switched to buying boars instead of the hearts for the bigger return. Jemma will be starting to raise some boar mounts today. Takes between 3 and 5 days based on what she's reading.

I'm game.

Sold all of my Merc laborers to switch over to Blacksmith. Sold them for between 25 and 35k each. Might be more profitable to just farm Merc laborers up to level 5 and then sell them than it is to just run them. 15k in laborers, I don't remember the book costs, don't have a total of income from them, then sold them all for about 400kish. Took about a week to level them up to 5? Maybe 10 days?
