That Jones guy is HUGE.
And OU is desperately missing having their WRs.

Who is he? I swear he was the ball boy in the Bama-OSU game.

Doubtful.
He appears to be Oregon's official ball boy
Better article

Wow, you Oregon dumb ass... nearly cost your team a TD, by about milliseconds.

I don't like how this game is going. The ball is bouncing Oregon's way. They've won every review. They have 0 TOs to our 4. Etc.
We should be winning by 3 TDs.

I imagine you're pretty happy now.

This article talks about the first year of the CFP and declares it the best season ever.
Maybe it was?
Still, one part of it caught my eye, and I think it proves and sums up why people believe there is an SEC bias.
Why did we think the SEC West was so good? By early October, this was treated as a cold, hard fact, and not until the division finished a woeful 2-5 in its bowl games did people start to wonder if we'd been wrong all along. But the West was just 6-5 against nonconference Power 5 foes this year, and four of those wins came against teams that finished 7-6 or worse.
The biggest wins for the division came against other division members, which certainly doesn't negate its strength, but it also served as a self-fulfilling argument. Clearly both Mississippi schools turned out to be flawed, but their strengths remained the backbone of national perceptions for the entire season.
And that's the point. Those "big wins" came against teams that were ranked by an arbitrary system. South Carolina was a top ten team to start the season. Texas A&M was at #6. Ole Miss and Mississippi State were #1 and #2 for a time.
I realize ranking mistakes will occur, as it's impossible for all rankers to see all teams, but the constant hype and high rankings for SEC teams have been proven over and over again to be suspect, yet the entire BCS era, which the SEC dominated, was fueled by them.
So please ESPN talking heads, keep telling us there is no SEC bias. Hell, maybe someday you'll have said it so much that you'll even believe it.

Cardale Jones is holding a press conference today at 3.. I don't think you hold a presser to announce you're coming back to school, looks like the young man is going pro.

I have no idea which way he's leaning, but he certainly didn't look ready in that final game. But he's in a weird situation.

He's got to go.
He's 23, has a 2 month old, doesn't care about classes, and is in it for football. He can't transfer without sitting out a year, and he won't be starting over Barrett who people forget is an awesome quarterback.
If he goes to the right NFL team, he will have a good career. It has to be the right team though, and not someone desperate for a QB.
Off the top of my head, I think Arizona would be a great fit. He gets a few years behind Palmer and Bruce Arians is a wizard with QBs.
Any place with an aging vet QB would be good.
If he goes to a place like Oakland, it could hurt his future potential.

...Like the Steelers, I can see it right now, the Steelers love drafting Buckeyes and he can sit while Ben closes out his career. I'm calling it right now, Pittspuke will draft Cardale and he will be the next Steeler QB to kick our asses for the next decade.

I can't even sit here and tell you I don't want that to happen because it'd be awesome. And honestly, wouldn't that be a really good fit for him? He'd be close to home, he'd be in an organization that is like a family (like the Bucks), and he'd be behind a guy who's built like him and has a similar play style.

I'm stunned. Even if he doesn't start this year, I think his stock for next year's NFL draft will be untouched. He just showed a lot of character.
Now he's really motivated too.

I sure hope his academics are better than those of the Yahoo Sports editors.

God that hurts just reading it.
