Testing ways to see how they can disrupt global comms. Imagine if 500 Chinese ships did that to 500 cables at once, the day before they hit Taiwan. And also 50 nukes went off in container ships in 50 harbors.

It's an open AI model, so apparently, yes.
At way way less electricity usage. Because their algorithms rock.
Is it a coincidence that a open AI model at a fraction of the cost comes out of China a week after the USA announces $500B in investment towards AI?

A small part of me still believes China is unable to innovate anything, and all advancement comes from spying.
So their AI will end up being "When you order your AI from wish.com."

Plot twist: The AI is really just Uyghurs sitting in the next room using Google to look things up.
Also, this is a good thing. Competition is great. It's like a new space race. Let's just hope they don't kill us all.
