We look a little silly.

China cut corners and didn't ensure their system wouldn't skynet and launch missiles.

e: the versions of this AI model run/trained in China do adhere to its Great Firewall content policies.

A small part of me still believes China is unable to innovate anything, and all advancement comes from spying.

So their AI will end up being "When you order your AI from wish.com."

Plot twist: The AI is really just Uyghurs sitting in the next room using Google to look things up.

Also, this is a good thing. Competition is great. It's like a new space race. Let's just hope they don't kill us all.
