You got to Brecilien from a mist in Yew Woods?
I was doing some fame farming in a mist and was doing one of those PVP zones where you have to kill 10k fame. There were a couple of other players in there, but doing their own thing. Then one attacked me. He wasn't very good though. I beat him.
Won one arena match.
Won 300k silver from the guy Gus sent us too. I won 3 out of 5 of his 100k giveaways.

I haven't been to Brecilien yet. It can only be reached in the mists and you have to have 50,000 standing rep to get into it. It will always appear as a portal inside of a mushroom circle, i believe you can see the mushroom circles on the minimap too.
Sounds like you boys are clapping cheeks in PvP, good shit!

A few piece of gear that are considered good for red/black zones.
-Assasins jacket/leather chest- (R spell) Ambush for the invis is obviously helpful in PvP territory. I like to use this on my way to and from the dungeon and switch over to Inferno shield while in dungeon for damage resist and reflect.
Royal sandals/cloth feet- (F spell) Defensless Rush sounds bad when you read it because it reduces your defense but it cannot be purged. So a ganker can't cancel your speed boost with his Fiend Cowl.
Fiend Cowl/cloth head- (D spell) Purge for the same reason as stated above. Usually more of a ganker piece but dispelling all buffs from a ganker is nice to have too.
Scholar Cowl/cloth head- (D spell) Energy Shield is good for all content. Provides a big buff to your defenses and gives back lots of energy.
Soldier Boots/plate feet- (F spell) Wonderlust covers the most ground on foot, but any plate boot will work with Rejuvenating Sprint.
I personally use the Assasin Jacket, Scholar Cowl and Soldier Boots, all can be had for pretty cheap and work well in PvE too.

Yes. Once you get 50k of standing, portals appear in random mists. And yes, it shows up in the minimap. Escaping is hell. Unless you pay the $$$ to teleport out. I was carrying 3 sets of gear, so that was 100k I didn't (want to) spend.
Nice! I slept.

TY for the gear list, will check it out later.

What do you weapon? Also, would it make sense for us to mix things up a little if we're grouping?

Stupid Question I haven't found an answer for online: Do your carried items get damaged/need repair, or just equipped ones?

I've actually been using the druidic staff for the black zones with a shield or torch offhand. Its a healing staff but i spec the first two abilities to Thorn Growth and Bramble Seed, both are good AOE damage and slows anybody it hits. the E ability is a good single target heal. While my sword build does more damage, the sustain of the staff makes it feel like i can't be killed in the dungeon.
I went with the idea that i want to be able to get away and survive any potential ganks. So shields, invis, move speed, crowd control and heals all help to keep you alive and run away. And yes, this is more of a solo build. But having an invis, crowd control and movement abilities will always be good in a PvP situation.
weapons like the quarterstaff and fists have alot of movement abilties tied to them. Where maces are really CC heavy and axes have good life steal for sustain.

OK, that's what it felt like, and I'm a moron. I've been carrying all of my builds so I can switch to whatever I feel like doing: Zerg, PvE, Crystal Arena, gathering, etc...

I keep reading posts on Reddit boards of people saying solo dungeons are dead, and silver is shit. Maybe i'm just ok with smaller gains than those people but i was able to run 3 of the 4 maps successfully yesterday. The first run i scuffed by getting attacked by a mob and thinking i could take it out really quick before i entered dungeon, was jumped by 2 people and got killed. The other 3 runs i casually ran over an hour and i got $90,000, $195,000, and $161,000 worth of silver. That seems to be above average but i'm over $1.1M in 18 runs, 3 i decided not to run and one that i got killed. Still haven't had anyone invade my dungeon once i'm inside.
My whole goal with silver is to be able to buy myself the highest tier gear i can afford for arena/Crystal League fighting and to be able to maintain lower level gear sets for open world red and black zones. Maybe as we get into other content we will find better money makers but so far this seems to be the most efficient use of time for me.
How you guys doing? You two have gotta be doing well with how much more you can play than i.

Making some money? like how is farming and faction warfare treating you? i basically have my two farm plots that i grow carrots on. If i water them i can make around $80k a day if i keep up with it. I found carrots to be the best so far since you get 2 seeds for every one you plant. Haven't done anymore faction warfare since we did last Friday.

Cabbage is like $85k/day - 3 plots. But, I cannot water all of them yet, so that's holding me back. I can reliably water 19 out of 27 squares right now. I'm focusing on cabbage until I max it out.
Faction stuff - It's easy to get 10k points a day, which is about 135k of silver per day (minus repair costs, if applicable). That's like 1 run, assuming some combat. I tried to do JUST a little combat, no takeovers, and it looked like each instance of combat got me about 500 points. Which is much better than the 50 to 250 for takeovers. (plus region capture, whatever that is). But you get 5k, you get a bonus of 5k, or something, so it adds up. (Does each faction bonus give you double of that threshold? 1250 2500 and 5000? If so that's more like 15k points or 200-225k of silver per day) I haven't kept track quite well enough. I'm at 95k points currently (so 1.3M silver) in reserve.
During the week I mostly have to do stuff that's interruptible, like fishing or mists or faction stuff.

I've been dumping resources into the guild bank when I get good ones (x.1, x.2, etc) or baby animals. Feel free to use them.

I've been doing faction stuff too. I'm up to 112k points. Buying stuff with the point and selling it for silver has a pretty good return. At 125k points, I can start buying boars for 3k points and selling for about 50k silver. I like getting into the fights for the bigger point payouts. However, I DO need to stop wearing my highest gear for the highest repair costs. It's not like, if I do this extra damage, we might finally take Fort Sterling!
I still do lumberjacking for no risk, low attention silver farming. I figure about 100k/hour from that.
My other form of income is twitch stream watching! 2.3 million won.
I've got 15 laborers now, I'd guess about 25k from them each day (and growing as the level up) with a few minutes in mist to fill the books with fame. Going to level them up to T5 or 6 then sell them and switch to a crafting laborer. Buying full books on the market. According to this spreadsheet I got, it should be profitable. I'll keep you posted.
The last few days, although I've played a lot, I haven't wanted to get into anything that was going to lock me in, or I'd have to worry about anything. So I've been milling about doing easy entry/exit stuff.
Was up to 4.5 million, then I upgraded Jemma's island and I'm down to 1 million. She has a fully upgraded island now.
Lastly, the guild bank is still a private bank. Only you can see the stuff in there. I'll setup some chests in the hall with open (guild) access for stuff to share.

heheh Just sat down after doing that research with Jemma. She's building one now. No idea what the skill path is yet, but she's working on it. She also said we joined the wrong faction if we are getting a pig instead of a winter bear.
I'll keep you posted on her progress. She also said you are welcome to use it as well. She has pastures and a saddler as well.
