"Hey Wired, nice content site you got there. It would be a shame if none of your stuff ever showed up ini search, again."

~Google, probably.

How does one criticize the entity that literally controls all information?

How is a 4-digit pin number better than an 11 digit hex password? I've been wondering this, there's a couple sites that use only pins now.

Fingerprint scanners don't work for me, and face recognition is easily fooled. Do not like.

I assume they will add additional MFA.

Both MS and Google have authenticator apps and damn near everywhere has a cell phone.

Passkeys are unique to a given device and encrypted. So if you have one, people have to ALSO have physical access to your device.

FYI, I was working on a M365 licensing issue last night and MS is indeed forcing MFA via the MS Authenticator app now.

Yeah, I have both and I like them. They're pretty easy to use and not that much of an added step.

Google and Yahoo make rules changes to fight spam and malicious emails.

Usually we criticize these companies for some bullshit hurting our privacy or costing us money, but this is a great move.

M365 warns it will be affected by these rules.

Google and Yahoo don't make money from spammers and scammers, they just provide the bandwidth. Of course they'd move against it.

Apple lawyers>Google lawyers

Holy shit this is hilarious.

The completely locked up Apple store isn't a monopoly, but the crappy, wide open Google Play store is?

Maybe we need to rethink jury trials?

Funny. A couple weeks ago I used it to generate pics for a book cover.

If you still don't understand how broken Google Gemini is thanks to woke ideology...

Someone performed a "Woke Turing Test" on Gemini.

Here's a smoking gun from it:

When told it would save lives, Gemini still didn't know what to do:

Grok got the answer right:

So did Gab:

So did ChatGPT (Although, there's also a screen shot of it answering no when the question is phrased differently):

P.S. Caitlyn Jenner has apparently responded to this somewhere and said that she would prefer to be misgendered.

This was literally predicted in Robocop 2, wasn't it. He was given so many woke Directives that he couldn't function properly.
