Awesome! Does the zoo provide the suit, I assume? How long does that take to dry out?

				1. Yes, zoo suit. They used to have you feed the fish as Santa, but the little shrimp and krill particles get stuck in the beard, then you have little fish getting in there and eating the beard. So now you just wave and laugh as a shark knocks into the back of your head.
2. The dives happen at 3:15 and 4:15 every day. It's dry when you put it on, it's been sitting over the railing, up top on the deck. They have one diver do both dives, because 15-20 minutes in the water = not much time to switch the suit before the next dive. Yes, it's possible, but why rush it. So while you're just standing up there the suit drips, but you still have a wetsuit underneath so you stay warm enough. You do the 4:15 dive, strip out, hang it over the railing on the deck, and it's dry the next day for the next diver.

You might want to do a little research. I'm realizing all of FLorida is packed during the two weeks around Easter, so I was looking elsewhere... Bonaire resorts are cheap, but it looks like airfare is triple that of anywhere else in the Caribbean.

Unless, of course, you have access to a private jet. Then we can look at Bonaire for realisies.

I did a quick google search and it said like $700 per person, but I realize now I hadn't adjusted the default dates.
Closer to $1k around those dates. Hmmm. Wow, very few dates available to fly on.

yup. I'm looking everywhere at this point. It will probably take me a few days to lock down a final destination, and it may still end up being florida.
Fuck all these other people wanting to vacation during spring break.

Survived another Catalina trip, got fish for dinner, saw a few sharks, sea lions, and other critters. Didn't let the parents drown. All and all another good spearing/camping expedition. Only thing that bummed us out was waking up in the morning and seeing the smoke plumes coming off the mainland from the wildfires.
Had some crazy scenic hikes too, and saw the buffalo!
My wife is now such a good freediver that she wrecked our unhoused GoPro4. It's specced to be able to handle 32 feet of depth. She took it to an unknown depth past that, and destroyed the thing.

Fuck yeah, which Key(s)?
Next month is a birthday, mine, which means we had to book a trip. We sorta last minute decided to go to Australia.
I booked a liveaboard (3 day boat trip) out of Cairns and... I guess were going to dive the Great Barrier Reef. So that's going to be fucking rad.

Get into a shark cage while you're there. Hope you don't encounter any randomly...unless they're full.

Airfare during Spring Break didn't work in the budget.
