I disagree with your sentiment here.

I heard from several different Cavs fans after Thursday's game that Love was the only one who showed up. Last night the poor bastard got a concussion. He also singlehandedly won game 5 against Toronto.

Love isn't the issue, although he'd probably be sent packing after the season. Hopefully to Boston where OIC rules state he'll lead them to a title the following year.

I also think Kyrie gets ousted in favor of John Wall. I actually think this one happens, and then the Love one if LeBron can't talk Durant into coming to Cleveland.

Nobody on Cleveland's team is having fun. I think that all starts with LeBron, who deserves a LOT of the blame for them looking so bad. Here's an article about his suckage.

And blame Tyron Lue too. He's letting GS dictate how the games are being played.

Six straight NBA Finals is a rare feat

Hey, reaching the Super Bowl four times in a row is a rare feat, but no one cares.

Cowherd was going off about those LeBron playing time stats the other day. The numbers are staggering. More so when you consider that he has years left in the tank.

The problem is that he's already not the player he once was, so how much is really left in that tank versus how much he thinks is left? Will he hang around too long like Jordan?

The Atlanta Braves won 14 division titles in a row and only 1 World Series. Does that mean those 14 years were failures? Hell no. It's a run that's ridiculously impressive and any other team's fans would love to have it.

I've always considered the journey to be far more satisfying than reaching the destination. The Steelers have been relevant since Cowher took over in the early 90s and it's been a hell of a run. New England might have (cheated) won more Super Bowls during that time, but the Steelers were always a contender.

In terms of Bobby Cox keeping his job? No.

In terms of the players having otherwise successful careers? No.

In terms of being the best? Yes, it is a fucking failure. You had 14 tickets to the big show and fucked it up 13 times.

I was elated when OSU won the football championship in 2002. When the Steelers won their 6th Super Bowl, I was on cloud nine, but I'll admit that a certain expectation of winning toned down my emotions for the moment.

If the Cleveland Indians won the WS this year, I expect their fans would experience a far greater sense of accomplishment that if the same happened for the NY Yankees.

My opinion is eminently valid regardless of my geographic proclivities. I can summarize thugball and baseball in this town in one sentence: ass since a few years after the new millennium. That's objective fact. Football and hockey around here generate a bit more optimism. But to be brutal, no one expects shit out of the Vikings. They've got a semi-decent QB that might break out at some point during his career, a la Jason Campbell. Or he could consistently underperform and be a perennial journeyman backup, a la Jason Campbell. Their D has its moments, but the offense hasn't clicked since Fudgepacker Favre. Before that, you have to dial back to the days of Culpepper and Moss. Calling the last decade a TD drought isn't a strong enough way to put it. The only hope we have of getting any sporting success going is the Wild. Problem is they can't maintain the scoring octane to get through the 2nd round most years.

So, yes, I'm quite aware of the shithouse teams in my berg and I do not harbour illusions about their abilities.

Cavs will win game 4 too. It'll be closer though. Cavs by 8. The NBA will make sure the refs stretch the series out.

Yeah, I believe the game five winner will determine the champ if its 2-2. But I'm a little scared, was last nights game just an illusion? Where was that effort the first two games?? I just don't understand the NBA, GSW looked like the Cavs from the first two games. They totally flipped the script, but I don't know if it can last.
