An article I saw over the weekend calls the fan reaction divided. Meanwhile, I haven't seen a single person praising it. It's been all "This makes no sense. As an actor, of course he can do it, but why use a guy we recognize as Iron Man, who made the MCU, in a role another actor could have played."

Seriously, anyone who liked "The Last Jedi" is a dullard. Yes, it was beautifully shot, but if you think that story was well written and fit the characters, you have no fucking idea what you're talking about. Don't even get me started on The Acolyte, which the creator called "the gayest Star Wars ever".

Marvel needed to take a few years off, especially after all the damage they did to the brand with DEI. Not to mention the garbage Sony was putting out under the Spider-Man banner.

Later this year is the Thunderbolts, which only diehards are probably excited about, and the poorly cast Fantastic Four.

The Thunderbolts trailer is the best looking thing I've seen from the MCU since Endgame. Heavy Guardians of the Galaxy vibes, except fresh.
