Fixed.
Good opening. Very satisfying. Nice closing moment.
Stuff in the middle: I liked that they're hinting the giant red barbarian and the giant warrior woman will bump uglies. Lots of poo this episode. The Hound clearly has changed alignment thanks to Arya Stark. I look forward to his inevitable victory over the Mountain.
They've shit on the good guys enough. They've got two seasons left, one and a half really. Time to turn the tables and end the series on a happy note.
I predict Cersei doesn't survive the season. She'll die 1-2 episodes before the season finale. UNLESS...they deal with the North first and then turn back to Cersei next season. Like if Hottie McIwannafuckher gets word that the North is the true fight so she heads up there for that battle first.
Your guesses about Sansa might be accurate, and Snow will have to kill her. I hope not though. I believe she'll end up honoring her marriage.
Whatever happened to baby Borathen the blacksmith? Is he still in the picture?

RR Martin made it pretty clear he expected the series to end as a wasteland. Whether or not the TV show stick to that... who knows.
Baby Bortheon is supposed to show up this season, I think. The guy sent away on the boat?

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Anyway, I hope HBO talks him out of it. If nobody wins, what was the point? I could have just played Tic Tac Toe.

Eh, I see enough of that in the real world.
As for the Sansa stuff, I was listening to Simmons' podcast when he interviewed Jimmy Butler and at the end he brought on a Ringer staffer that does their Talk of Thrones podcast. She said Sansa had her hair cut like early Cersei, and as she put it "Nothing on the show is an accident".
She also brought up a prophecy told to Cersei by the gypsy I completely forgot about that was really interesting. The gypsy told her all her children would die, and then did...? When did her daughter die? Didn't she move away somewhere? She also said you will die at the hand of your little brother. The lady on the podcast then predicted Cersei and Jaime will die in the first 3-4 episodes this season with Jaime killing Cersei (whether or not that's Arya is a different debate).
I think she's right. We've spent 6 seasons on the Lanisters and we know NOTHING about the Dead King and his army. I think it's time to wrap up the Lanisters, unite the kingdom, and wage war in the north.

I would prefer... a happy-ish ending. I don't see sunshine and roses, but I'd like to see something towards rebuilding.
When did her daughter die?
On the boat after visiting the place that reminds me of Spain... as revenge for Oberyn. She was kissed by the woman with the poison.

Ringer did a binge podcast that went by season. I might (will) download that this week and cover everything again.
By the way, and for real, who is Ed Sheeran or whatever? Why do I care?
Now when Conor McGregor shows up this season, I'll recognize him. He'll be the one almost as tall as Tyrion.

Second episode in a row where they superimposed food with something gross....
The soup looking like maester diarrhea in the last episode, the chicken pot pie looking like Jorah's pussy (the quality or condition of containing pus) wounds in this episode.

I think one of my biggest gripes about this show is the Iron Fleet.
Didn't dickless and his bisexual sister flee with half the fleet? So where the fuck is this tiny little house getting all this wood, iron, and men? Meanwhile, scenes in Winterfell make it look like maybe 50 people lived there.
I don't blame R.R. for this, but more whoever is designing the scenes. The scale really feels off between the Winterfell scenes and everything else. The Iron Fleet is just the best example.

Yeah, I wonder where Euron's ships came from as well.... and I wonder how he knew exactly which ship to board in Yara's fleet in the middle of the night in a sneak attack.
Just one of those things we need to not think about too hard, I spose.
Also I want to see Arya come home being escorted by a massive pack of wolves.

With Jon leaving it will be interesting to see what R.R. has planned for her.
I wonder if she'll be the one to finally eliminate Littlefinger, or even pretend to be Jon if Sansa gets a bit Cersei-ish.

1 - Yeah, the fleet was stolen, he built a new fleet (it's mentioned in Season 6), but damn that was fast for 1,000 boats.
2 - Winterfell is small. It's more rural than King's landing (think flyover country vs NYC). The people live in the land.
3 - What's weird is that Euron had to sail PAST Dragonstone in order to catch up with the Iron Fleet, unless Euron left KL earlier than it seemed. If only a lookout at Dragonstone had been looking for a massive fleet that could scuttle their plans.

But srsly, if she was moving the Ballless and Dothraki armies to Casterly Rock, does that mean she just lost both those armies when Euron pushed their shit in?
